Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited HostDime, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page João Pessoa. Brand new logo for Warner Music Group[edit]

I work for Warner Music Group. I see you have contributed in the past to the Warner Music Group article. There’s a brand new logo for WMG. I uploaded it to Wikimedia Commons as the representative of the company, but I know I’m not supposed to directly edit Wikipedia articles when I have a conflict of interest. Would you be able to take a look at the request to swap out the old logo and logo caption at Talk:Warner Music Group#Help switching to new logo ? Thank you so much for your consideration.Music2022 (talk) 00:03, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Rozalind Drummond[edit]

Hello Sam, I'm curious about where you have found 'promotional' language on Rozalind Drummond - could you clarify. In discussing her work in that section I have been careful to use neutral language and only incorporated option that is referenced, and only one statement by the artist herself. I have included a section 'Recognition' and in that have included both positive and negative reviews of her work to provide a balanced assessment of her oeuvre. I am not associated with Drummond, and am happy to follow up on your suggestions if you can identify non-encyclopaedic passages. Regards Jamesmcardle(talk) 07:10, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have too many quotations. Please consider reducing them. Sounds too promotional. Check WP:QUOTEFARM. Sam raggio (talk) 07:16, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I am familiar with WP:QUOTEFARM and I don't agree that quotation is being used excessively here. My intention is to show how critical reception to this postmodern artist subtlety changed with time (and acceptance of the style). Some are hardly 'promotional' but rather, condemn her work. Quotations do this best, as I would be misrepresenting the critics' quite nuanced opinions by merely paraphrasing them and it is impossible to preserve their meaning in paraphrase (which you can see I have done with some here). If you still think it a problem can you please change the template to as you haven't shown that is appropriate. I'll leave the article for a while and come back to complete the citations for the exhibitions you have removed. Cheers, Jamesmcardle(talk) 07:54, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ok I changed the template, but typically more than 1 or 2 quotes is too many. And its the quotations that make it promotional when they are positive in nature.Sam raggio (talk) 08:43, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
