A tag has been placed on File:Mushfiqur likes to push the ball at mid-on.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 17:23, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

March 2014[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:6th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam/GA1. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Chris Troutman (talk) 19:14, 5 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Rangers image[edit]

Per Wikipedia:NFCC#9 that image of the Rangers' logo is not free and is only allowed to be hosted on Wikipedia for the Rangpur Riders article. If you display it on your user page you are abusing the corporate owner of that image, and they may sue Wikipedia to have that image removed altogether. That's why it was commented out. Nine times out of ten, I leave user pages alone, but this is clear policy guidance. Chris Troutman (talk) 01:35, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain? This article was pending a review by another user and you came in and did a sudden fail with no rationale whatsoever. I reverted your changes with rollback Secret account 02:55, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Good Article[edit]

I have removed you from the list of recruiters as you are not qualified. If you would like to learn how to evaluate GA nominees, follow the instructions at "RECRUITEE" central. You have already vandalized a few GA nominations, perhaps because you don't understand the process. Chris Troutman (talk) 03:17, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Talk:Bobby Fischer. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. You may not unilaterally promote an article to GA especially since it is still being reviewed. Chris Troutman (talk) 03:26, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on File:Mushfiqur Rahim,Mahmudallah and Shamsur Rahman.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://archive.thedailystar.net/beta2/news/pride-at-stake-for-tigers/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

File permission problem with File:Shakib Al Hasan with the film star Sharukh Khan and the manager of Kolkata Night Riders.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Shakib Al Hasan with the film star Sharukh Khan and the manager of Kolkata Night Riders.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 18:13, 9 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

At first, I understand for what I am blocked. It was because I had uploaded copyright images which were not allowed. I edit those images before uploading as I thought that it will make it my own work. Most of my images are not copyright though, such as the swiss airlines, the mastermind school, the sunderbans crocodile. I had read Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks. I hope and pray that I will be unblocked and think that I had provided a good reason. I will not do it again. I will not mind if my images which were not copyright are repaired bacause it was my fault. Sakib14 (talk) 15:12, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Swiss airlines, mastermind school, etc most certainly ARE copyrighted. Your failure to understand this puts Wikipedia at legal risk the panda ₯’ 23:14, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

User:DangerousPanda I am saying that Swiss airlines, mastermind school, and sunderbans crocodile are not copyright ONLY. If they are copyrighted you should have some prove. I took the swiss airlines photo from London airport, the crocodile one from a boat in the Sunderbans river, and the photo of the Mastermind School main building when I passed through it. The rest are copyright. So will accept my next unblock request? Sakib14 (talk) 09:04, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, if you don't mind, I've fixed the code in your navigation template so your user page and user talk page no longer show up under a smaller font size. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:30, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
