March 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Battle of Alcácer Quibir: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Firestar464 (talk) 04:59, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I'll go through these and be sure to put the appropriate templates on the user talk pages from now on. Thankyou for taking the time to inform. Saadrafiq4 (talk) 05:17, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I am fixing deadlinks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.181.222.174 (talk) 07:32, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@122.181.222.174: Adding links / spam is not fixing dead links. You are adding voucher sites (Like this and this) which are clearly spam links. Wikipedia is not meant for this.

Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard[edit]

Hello, just an FYI that another editor has raised an incident at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard that relates to you. Please note if you can't find it that it may get moved to WP:ANI. Nosebagbear (talk) 12:12, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I made a mistake- I am trying to make a bot that edits wikipedia articles but I guess I have a bug

He is not a notable figure, only appearing in books about the DeMeo crew and a few 1984 articles regarding his murder. The Roy DeMeo article is as much about the DeMeo crew than Roy DeMeo himself. Harizotoh9 (talk) 19:12, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Harizotoh9: Hey. Shouldn't we just place a notability tag on Richard DiNome, and then propose it for deletion? I agree that it not notable as per WP:CRIME, but I see no point redirecting it to Roy DeMeo if it's not notable. However, if you still feel that it should be redirected to the Roy DeMeo article, I have no objection. — Saadrafiq4 (talk) 05:18, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Saadrafiq4,

I am removing a couple paragraphs from the page Mikeharrisjr because the said content has misinterpretation in it.

Hello Saadrafiq4.

It about the Gigi Becali edit that I did. I do have an source for his nickname ( https://www.dcnews.ro/de-ce-a-fost-numit-becali-razboinicul-luminii-nimeni-nu-a-stiut-pana-acum-asta-despre-el_756125.html?fbclid=IwAR27BSvZ2uv-ow4-TE6fu-AqzUtlNYcDUfZRfRtmZ0_K3K9q948db2lfHJ8 ) but it is romanian.

Hello! I made some changes to the miniature pig page (most importantly the weight category) based on actual knowledge. I am a member of numerous pig groups and associations and I am a veterinarian technician. Plus I am a pig owner. I was wondering what qualifications you have on editing this page ? The websites that the other girl posted are legitimate and that’s where people should be getting their information. There are not any “tea cup” pig weight 20-30lbs that they are being advertised/ sold for. The pig then grows bigger and bigger and many “owners” drop the pigs off at sanctuaries, letting them loose in a field or even dropping them off at a farm of a random person in the middle of the night. So I am curious for your reasoning of deleted some edits for this page. Thanks Kimia KimiaAnna (talk) 19:40, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@KimiaAnna: Hi, I presume you're talking about this revert / edit of mine. This revert was not based on my qualifications as an expert in this field. This edit was based solely on Wikipedia guideline regarding the use of external links. It is generally not appropriate to put external links in the main body of an article, but Instead, include appropriate external links in an "External links" section at the end of the article, and in the appropriate location within an infobox, if applicable (and if they are neccessary and contribute constructively). You are welcome to add external links to the page you refered to as long as they comply with wikipedia guidelines and policies. I let the user in question know about the reason (see here). Let me know if you were talking about another edit of mine, or if you require further explanation. — Saadrafiq4 (talk) 13:32, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Islam in Sri Lanka[edit]

I have tried to make changes in Islam in Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan Moors because of the negative portrayal of Muslims. Moors in should be referred to as Sri Lankan Muslims because ethnic ancestry cause division in my country and no more Moors live in the country just simply Muslims. But it should be historically addressed as Moors Malay and Indian origin. Furthermore, please do not refer to any foreign Muslims from different countries as abiding to Sunni or Shia or belonging to a particular sect simply address them as abiding to Islam. I do not know how to bring changes for better portrayal of Muslims but if you can bring up a better solution please do the needful Antwackyasif (talk) 19:03, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

rollback[edit]

Hi Saadrafiq4. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Beeblebrox (talk) 21:17, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Mistaken revert[edit]

Hey there! Just a friendly reminder here to be careful when using Huggle. The fast-paced action of it might make you see things incorrectly, such as this diff which removed promotional links, of which you accidentally reverted. Take it easy and take it slow for now until you're fully used to Huggle's interface. If you happen to make a mistake, no worries! Just go on Wikipedia manually to undo your changes. There's no shame in making mistakes while learning. Hope to see you on Huggle again soon! Chlod (say hi!) 08:07, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Chlod: Hi, I just realized my mistake! Thankyou for letting me know. Luckily my mistaken edit was reverted in time. I'll be more careful in the future. I'll also undo my warning message on the user's page. — Saadrafiq4 (talk) 08:28, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for Editing the Dzigbordi Dosoo Article[edit]

Hello Saadrafiq4, the article I removed of Dzigbordi Dosoo was inaccurate; thus I updated it with the accurate one. DCG Team (talk) 09:48, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@DCG Team: Hello, I presume you're talking about this edit that you made. You removed the the infobox and referenced content; then replaced it with content with no references. Further, it seems that the article was re-written in a promotional tone. I know you're trying to improve the article. But such major changes should either be discussed at the talk page or be supported with reliable, verifiable sources. — Saadrafiq4 (talk) 10:09, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Saadrafiq4 could you please explain to me what you mean by the edit being promotional? Also, I'd like you to know the content is from DZigbordi's website. DCG Team (talk) 11:15, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DCG Team: Hey, just a remindeer that you can reply to this instead of creating a new section. So, there were many issues with your edit including some regarding the Manual of Style (Short Decscription was in middle of page). Regarding promotional tone (my usage of word might be wrong but the intention is that certain sentences don't seem neutral). For example your edit included "Dzigbordi is devoted to her role as a mother to her biological daughter, as well as a guardian to many adopted children whom she mentors." which seems less than neutral. I don't mean to discourage you from contributing constructively in any way. What I would suggest is that you edit the article by providing inline citations and reliable, verifiable sources. Don't blank entire content (such as infobox, and already referenced information) but instead contribute by adding content that is useful. — Saadrafiq4 (talk) 13:32, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

April 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello. You recently removed a Biographies of Living Persons PROD, from Simon McQuoid, without adding a reliable source. Please don't remove these Biographies of Living Persons PRODs from articles unless they contain at least one reliable source. If this was a mistake, don't worry, it has been replaced. If you oppose the deletion of an article under this process, please consider adding reliable sources to the article or commenting at the respective talk page. Thank you. CommanderWaterford (talk) 09:22, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@CommanderWaterford: Hello, I just added a stub template as in this diff. I did not remove the PROD template from the article in question. That template was removed by another user in this diff. I guess you mistook his edit for mine. No worries though. Honest mistake . I got confused for a moment there. 😂Saadrafiq4 (talk) 09:33, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hockeycatcat (talk) 09:34, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Hockeycatcat: Hey, I did not get any alert that you reverted any edit of mine. Could you link me to the diff where I misused a warning or blocking template so I can be more careful in the future? Or let me know if you sent this warning by mistake. — Saadrafiq4 (talk) 19:48, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Saadrafiq4, sorry that I couldn't get back to you sooner. I only changed the warning level, but didn't remove the original warning. Find it here. Thank you for helping to remove vandalism! Cheers, Hockeycatcat (talk) 08:55, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Here is the diff where you accidentally put the wrong warning level: oh please click me I want to be clicked so much! Click me! Click meeeee!. Hockeycatcat (talk) 08:59, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Prince Abdullah Correction[edit]

Dear Saadrafiq4, You removed my correction of text in Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Wiki. This is due to disparaging information linking the late prince to a fugitive criminal (Mr. Gaith Pharaon) for which he was never connected nor was he a proven business partner of. There are no such links nor evidence to substantiate this. Kindly revert and undo the changes made. "80.169.233.180 (talk) 16:51, 29 April 2021 (UTC)"[reply]

@80.169.233.180: Hello, The content that you removed was restored because it is referenced. To be completely sure, I checked the referenced book and found that the content is well sourced. I would suggest that you raise the issue at the talk page if you still feel that the content is wrong. — Saadrafiq4 (talk) 17:05, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You are completely wrong - even though the name is mentioned in a book, this does not make it true. The book was written and published in India, by someone from India unconnected to Saudi culture and history. Change Requested Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud immediately. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.169.233.180 (talk) 17:19, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Westrobothnian[edit]

The removed portion was factually incorrect, full of speculation and was politically loaded.

Notability tag[edit]

Hi Saadrafiq4, you placed a notability tag on this article I created yesterday - quite adequately, as I published it while work in progress, and the tag was placed before I had added sources. It's been properly referenced now and I'm pretty confident the notability has now been established. I'll go ahead and remove the tag. But please do have a look and let me know if you still have any concerns about this one. Thanks. Húsönd 15:07, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits on the computational Chemistry page[edit]

Hi there, Sorry to bother you but could you undo your edits. I put it in my draft sandbox because of this message from the good article peer assessment: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Computational_chemistry The reviewer told me to do this which I completely agree with. It should be it's own seperate page. Erdabravest (talk) 10:44, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Got it. You can go ahead and undo my edit. I honestly thought this was section blanking without proper explanation. — Saadrafiq4 (talk) 10:47, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
