Request reason:

No good reason for blocking. The subtle change in the text on the Doctor Robert pages gives more precision to the article. Nobody on this planet can prove that there are any drug references in the lyrics of the Doctor Robert song by the Beatles. Therefore, the way it is now described is inaccurate and liable to bring damage to the real Doctor Robert, might this person be still alive. As a consequence, writing that the song is 'supposed to have many drug references' is preferable over 'the song contains many drug references. After I wrote Sir Paul McCartney about this topic, the block of my IP-address was terminated. I expect that this time you will all read more carefully what I publish.

Decline reason:

If you want to contest your block as User:Virtualizer, you'll have to do it through that account. Creating a new account in order to avoid the block on your other account is against policy. Dear Rodhullandemu, Please delete the Virtualizer account and unblock my own. I did not deliberately evase the block, but I just wanted to use my own name. I'm glad that at least I am able to edit this page and that the drug references are gone from the English Wikipedia page on Doctor Robert. I will not edit the Doctor Robert article any longer, since these damaging speculations are already deleted by someone else. If I have any additional information for the English WIkipedia pages I will use the sandbox and the discussion pages only and not edit the other ones. I still did not get a response from the Arbitration Committee. Rodhullandemu, can you please inform me about any possible steps to take? The Virtualizer should be deleted and the Robert van der Velden account unblocked. Do keep in mind that if I am the real Doctor Robert from the 1966 Beatles' song, Wikipedia keeps publishing articles that harm my reputation. Not the English one, but today I deleted the mentioning of drug references in the song on the Dutch article once again. Also the sources referred to in this article are unreliable. This account is blocked for sockpuppetry rather than any other issue, and I suggest that an unblock request should be made at User Talk:Virtualizer. However, it seems that this editor is still pushing the view that John Lennon wrote the song "Doctor Robert" - a song about a drug supplier- about him, when this editor was two years old. That I find hard to believe in the extreme and why I still maintain that this user should direct any further unblock requests to ArbCom via email. Sockpuppetry will no longer happen with this IP-address. I will no longer bother you with issues that you find hard to believe. Fact is however, that now the quality of the English article about Doctor Robert is much higher than the Dutch one. It doesn't have the drug references the Dutch one has and doesn't use unreliable sources. Furthermore, 'rhythm guitar' and 'lead guitar' are very poorly translated in Dutch.Robert van der Velden (talk) 07:35, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

I believe I've made my own position plain, and given your editing history here, I'm not prepared to move from it. I've retained you recent emails to me, which I am prepared to make available to the Arbitration Committee should you seek to make a further appeal to them. However, it's obvious that you are a single-purpose account, pushing a fringe theory, without any credible evidence, and promoting your artistic career. None of these is acceptable to Wikipedia, so kindly do not email me again. It's nothing personal, my times in the Netherlands and Amsterdam in particular, have been, er, very entertaining and educational, and I have never met a nasty Dutch person, even in Hilversum. Request reason:

Since the person that has been trying to block me from accessing the English Wikipedia is now indefinitely banned from this environment, the time seems right to insert a new unblock request. I am very aware of the pride English people have concerning their culture, especially when popular music is the topic. People from other countries where English is not the main language should have every chance to use English though, because it is the best one for international purposes. Right now the Doctor Robert article refers to the British singer who used the name Doctor Robert as an artist as from the 1980s. I am perfectly comfortable with remaining invisible on the web as the real Doctor Robert concerning Wikipedia and Google. The problem with this article however is now, that it seems to benefit British music and deprives Dutch music from being taken seriously. I will not touch this article when unblocked though, I have my pride as well. I will respect this article as being a naive British island and I will focus on other topics like European history and navy battles. Many thanks in advance for being unblocked, if you've got the nerve. Indeed I can be very nasty, my apologies for this. The reason lies in the way the real Doctor Robert (me) has been treated until now.

Another problem that may very well still be the reason for blocking me, is that I used the account Virtualizer previously. I already requested the Arbritration Committee to delete the account Virtualizer, that used the same IP-address. When unblocked I will only use the account Robert van der Velden.
