MV helpdesk reply[edit]

For the article I've been working on, for Casimir-Pierre Perier (English), the top image for Perier suddenly changed from the good color image (now being used for the article in French) to a not so good black & white image. Why did this happen? Could you please change it back to the color image? Thanks. Richard J Barker (talk) 13:19, 14 April 2015 (UTC)Richard Barker[reply]

Hello, I just removed the reference you made to your PhD dissertation on the article Casimir Pierre Périer as well as the reference in Cashmere wool to Hoofprints as I couldn’t find any evidence of a periodical or book by that name that contained the information. It is best when editors can provide reliable third-party sources, as it helps us keep us neutral with the material. WP:INTREF4 helps explain this. We do appreciate your work here, so please don’t be discouraged as you learn - there is always someone around that is happy to help you! You may reach me on my page if you have a question.
