There is no justification in KEEPING who "powers" MLB.COM except as an advertising plug about the organization that "powers" it. Wahkeenah 17:13, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • An encyclopedia entry is about keeping history of information. Since the previous ownership of a domain site is historial information, such entry is completely within the scope of Wikipedia and it is not advertising. Your name has been reported to the administrator for repeated removal. Rgl168 18:11, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • You should also be reported, and you will be, for continual violation of rules against personal advertising. Wahkeenah 19:40, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
      • You are more than welcomed to do so. Rgl168 20:10, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mediation[edit]

Hi there, Rgl168, I'm Shadow1, the mediator for the case you requested in the Mediation Cabal. In order to better facilitate communication during mediation, I'm asking you and Wahkeenah to explain your reasoning on this page. I look forward to seeing your replies. Thanks! Shadow1 (talk) 17:11, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wahkeenah has expressed that he is no longer interested in this issue. Would you like me to declare the case closed? Shadow1 (talk) 17:19, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I respectfully disagree with this assessment based on the following: - Copyright laws around the world do not discriminate between different forms of expression; ie. rules apply to the work regardless whether it is a picture or written words. - "Publications" from Thai government (or any government) can be of both written words and images; if Thai law specifically states that images are copyrighted separately than written words, it would have said so. - Thai government website which the image originated from has no indication that image contents are copyrighted separately than written contents. ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open![edit]

Hello, Rgl168. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
