Origin of "Transgender"[edit]

I've chosen to remove your addition at Portal:Transgender/Intro. The Transgender article does not yet support the paragraph you added; I see there is a discussion going on at Talk:Transgender. Even if your new material does find its way into Transgender#Evolution of the term transgender, I suggest that it still wouldn't belong in the brief introduction on the portal page. I'm no expert, though, so feel free to disagree. Happy editing! -- John of Reading (talk) 07:07, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
