Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in Tokyo. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links as long as the content abides by our policies and guidelines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Hi, Rick. I didn't mean to offend by adding the link to Tokyo Architecture Info. While I can understand why you would see it as a purely self-serving move, TAI isn't any more commercial than the Japan-Guide link already on the page, and is certainly more useful than the Japan Times link which is 404. I don't know of another English language resource that has so many photographs (300+) of Tokyo, or such accurate statistics on the city's buildings. I think TAI should be accepted on its merits, and is certainly worthy of inclusion on Wikipedia's Tokyo page.

No offense taken, and I hope you are similarly not offended. The external links guideline is fairly clear. You've added links like this to not just Tokyo, but a variety of other cities as well. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising of any kind, including using it to direct traffic to web sites (that you own or like). If there are other commercial links they should be removed as well. If you'd like, I'd encourage you to bring up inclusion of the TAI link at talk:Tokyo.
