Request reason:

Checkuser does not confirm sockpuppetry. Alison is incorrect to suggest my IP address is an open proxy. The IP is of VSNL - the largest public Internet Services provider in India. Videsh Sanchar Bhawan, M.G. Road Fort, Bombay 400001. Plus, this is the first occasion I have heard anyone being blocked as a sockpuppet for "behaviour", especially when my edit history is impeccable. Check it out.

Decline reason:

The checkuser suggests that it is possible that your account is a sockpuppet account, and your contributions confirm you are engaged in exactly the same behaviour as the other sockpuppet accounts - or would you just have us believe that it is a coincidence? If you don't think people are blocked as sockpuppets on the back of behaviour (ie. non-checkuser evidence) you should take a trip to WP:SSP while you've got some time on your hands. It happens all the time, particularly when the evidence is as compelling as it is in this instance. Request for unblock declined. GbT/c 11:55, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
