Re:K.McClintock

I checked File:01 KDM.jpg and I don't see a deletion tag on it. Is there another image? Tony the Marine (talk) 03:36, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

  • I see. The "red" caption was referring to the "Image:Sello del Secretario de Estado de Puerto Rico.png", which was deleted. I removed the caption. I'm telling you, some people have nothing better to do. I don't see nor understand why that seal was deleted since from my understanding it is as much PD as the the Presidents Seal. PR Foremost military historian?

I was truly surprised. You have no idea how happy those words made this humble servant. Tony the Marine (talk) 23:44, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

The article Angel Morey has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. The-Pope (talk) 02:09, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Re:PR Campaign

You know, I agree with you. I was wondering if you could do me the favor of rephrasing it. Thanks before hand. Tony the Marine (talk) 02:37, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Sor Isolina Ferré

Look I don't disagree that it is unusual, the couple was truly gifted, and no one could have more respect for them than myself. However, the thing just stood out as an eyesore the way it was written. Maybe it could be re-written in some fashion to accomodate that, or possibly discuss the double-Recipient element somewhere later in the article. I wasn't trying to be sarcastic when I wrote "no one is born a nun", but when you are talking about Antonio Bacallao having 4 sons and 2 daughters and then suddently interject that with being a nun...something is surely out of place.

In any event, how would the siblings recipient be a good replacement for the "nun" part anyway? FYI, I believe I once saw documented somewhere that them two were the only siblings to have both been awarded the PMF. Maybe we could also consider adding a statement or two to the effect into List of Presidential Medal of Freedom recipients article, just like they now list the three folks that have received it twice.

Spanish Wikipedia

Hey! I notice that you like to edit about topics regarding Puerto Rico on the English Wikipedia. Would you mind also looking at es:Wikiproyecto:Puerto Rico and consider joining that? The Spanish Wikipedia needs some help with its Puerto Rico articles. Thanks WhisperToMe (talk) 00:57, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
