Kenneth McClintock photo

I agree with you old friend 100%. I changed the photo in the infobox for one which I believed was sharper and crispier (I thought that in the other one he looked as if he was crying), but I'll along with one with the new change in his hairstyle (smile). I'll see if I can get a photo of his new oil portrait in the Hall of Senate Presidents from him soon. Tony the Marine (talk) 00:09, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

PR citizenship

Thank you for the note on the PR citizenship issue. I passed it on to User:Jmundo who is working in the article. I also received an answer from McClintock. I expect to have the Senate Oil Painting photo soon. Take care! Tony the Marine (talk) 05:28, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi Pr4ever. First, thanks for weighing in on this article—hopefully we can save it. Also, I noticed that you tweaked the party compositions for the Senate in 1993-96 and 1997-2000. I got slightly different counts from the official listing of past Senators. Is there an error in that source, or am I reading it (or simply counting) wrong, or was there some mid-session change in party for one senator? Thanks! Qqqqqq (talk) 00:56, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Ah, that's good to know—I had no idea it worked that way. Would you want to add that as a note to the chart? I'm not sure I'd get it right. Qqqqqq (talk) 01:56, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
If the official source made that mistake, perhaps they made others as well? I just went by what that source said, but I did find in another Wikipedia article that there was a PPD-Liberal tie after the 1940 elections that required some political maneuvering by Muñoz Marín, while the Senate document had a simple 10-9 PPD-Union split. State Secretaries of State of the United States

Hello Pr4ever,

The reason that I removed the cat. "State Secretaries of State of the United States" from Kenneth McClintock's aeticle was because after I viewed it, I found out that McClintock's name was the only sole name on the cat. which didn't seem right. See for yourself: [1]. What I suggest is that someone create an article "Secretaries of State of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico" and then place the category in the article thereby going in tone with the other Secretaries of State articles. Don't you agree? I think that you could do an excellent job on the topic. What do you say? Tony the Marine (talk) 14:17, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
