Hello[edit]

Hello and welcome. I see the several articles you created on the Salisbury school, which are by and large good articles. I wanted to stop by and welcome you, and ask if you are related in some way to the school-- are you? HappyValleyEditor (talk) 20:31, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I was browsing school websites in Maryland and saw Salisbury University does not have organized information about the school compared to Towson University and University of Maryland College Park. I added information and links according to wikipedia page of other schools. (Pinklala (talk) 21:17, 15 April 2016 (UTC))[reply]

I find that hard to believe but will take your word on it for the moment and Assume good faith. Much of the material you have added lacks reliable sources-- i.e. material not published by Salisbury. I'd suggest that if you add material, you add it with good sources, or not at all. Your edits are giving these articles a very promotional tone to them Have a nice day! I am an alumni but the sections that you removed weren't written by me. Please have a look and check it. Also, I just reverted back the Honors Program because there is really indeed a honors program within the school and I thought it only needed a reference. All of the sections that I've added are based on the school website, and I was mostly formatting the article page and adding some information, as it does not have enough information compared to other schools within the University Maryland System. Please let me know if you have any more questions. (Pinklala (talk) 21:39, 15 April 2016 (UTC))[reply]

You really need to read WP:RS as the university itself is not the best source of notability. This article is very bloated and reads like a Prospectus and not an encyclopedia article. HappyValleyEditor (talk) 22:11, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Salisbury University into Fulton School of Liberal Arts. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 21:15, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Henson School of Science and Technology has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability independent of its parent (and notability is not inherited)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
