Leaving?

Don't go, Pedro! Do it for this guy, if not for anything else. --Agüeybaná (talk) 01:21, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Aw dude, come on. Don't leave over one bad scuffle. It's all over and done with. Let's move on, okay? GlassCobra 22:11, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, that's what I said! --Orange Mike 22:17, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, please don't leave. Have a cup of tea, a nice long break, and come back a bit later instead. You're one of the good ones. henriktalk 22:21, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What was said was really out of line, but can't you ignore it like I know you can? :-)Animum (talk) 00:09, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It would appear that LaraLove didn't learn a thing from her Rfa, judging from your contribution history. Please stay, Pedro. Lots of us here appreciate your efforts and would miss you if you departed. Jeffpw (talk) 00:21, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Recognize that the editor in question states having a condition which can impact her behavior. I think you've been a valuable editor, as have all the others who've replied before me, and I don't want to see something like this wind up being responsible for losing one of our best contributors. I'm not trying to make excuses, but this sort of thing can happen once in a while. I just hate seeing these kinds of consequences of such actions. I hope to give you a little perspective here. You may remember that I sought you out for (successful) admin coaching because I liked your style, and I mentioned in my RfA that I had learned from you that the important principles were to improve the 'pedia and to keep the editor who was making valuable contributions. I think without you around, both those principles would suffer. Perhaps you should take a Wiki-break, or work on improving an article that is of interest to you personally rather than working selflessly as you have been. Either way, I just wanted to remind you that you heard me out when I was discouraged about participating because I'd run up against the reason why they call it the "general public"... and, selfishly, I want you to be here long enough to see that the helping hand you extended to me will be passed along to someone else. If there's any value in offering you my ear, you have it; that, and any other anatomic part that's of use (shoulder, leg up, foot in the ass, all at your disposal). Pedro, you have always been, in my opinion, an excellent user and administrator. You're friendly, supportive, and helpful towards newcomers. I hope you one day return. Best of luck with everything!--U.S.A.U.S.A.U.S.A. 04:59, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you to everyone for your support, which means more than I can say. I can't not keep working here, there are too many great people to interact with, and I promise to make every effort to work postively alongside those who I perhaps have been less than positive with, very specifically Lara who I hope will forigve my pathetic attitude in acting as though I was going to retire in a fit of pique. Thanks

Thanks for your recent message on my talk page. I have not changed my mind but appreciate your statements. I will certainly mull it over. Your kind comments were greatly appreciated.

A Personal Attack in Banner Form?

It hasn't come to that now, has it? the_undertow talk 03:57, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not quite as bad as the attacks on me though, but I apologise for it. Pedro :  Chat  12:46, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
