Hi User:PJordaan. You created the page "PJordaan:Example/Awards" in the incorrect WP:Namespace, namely, user pages should be in the user namespace while only encyclopedia articles should be in the article namespace. To create a page in the user namespace, simply type the exact title of the page in the search bar using this form: User:[Exact Title Goes Here]] . Click search, and the page that pops up should give you an option to create the page. You forgot to use the prefix "User:" in this case, which is why your page ended up in the article namespace.
