Information icon Hello, I'm Adotchar. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Jason Momoa— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. As NinjaRobotPirate explains below, we'll need to know your IP to investigate the IP's block. You can find it via a site like whatismyip.org. Huon (talk) 13:33, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • You are not blocked, nor have you ever been blocked. If you can't edit, you need to tell us what the message says. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 11:27, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I cannot edit and the message says: he IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be an open or anonymizing proxy. To prevent abuse, these proxies may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.— Preceding unsigned comment added by OhsalveelCesar (talkcontribs) 11:36, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • OK, that means that someone did a hard block on your IP address because they thought it was an open proxy. If it is a proxy, the easiest solution is to stop using it. For example, you may have installed a privacy extension for your browser that automatically uses a proxy. If you're not using a proxy, you'll have to tell us what the IP address is. If you don't to do that publicly, you can use UTRS. Once we know what the IP address is, we can look at it and hopefully tell if it can be unblocked. DC Extended Universe reverts[edit]

User:OhsalveelCesar, you are currently WK:WARring as far as reverting edits based off of your personal opinion that co-producing is not producing, when it is in fact what a producer is. The 'co' part means that they are doing so with someone else. You're confusing Executive Producers with the information that you keep reverting. Prior to reversing anything else, you need to go to the talk page and discuss it there, as the consensus is currently that Walter Hamada and Geoff Johns are additional producers on ALL future DCEU releases. They were announced as such, and at this point - are just that. If you do not cease edit warring, this will be brought to the attention of an admin.--206.81.136.61 (talk) 01:07, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:10, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Shazam Comic Con 2018.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free image claimed be used for identification but that role is filled by File:Shazam film poster.jpg. Usage is decorative. Fails WP:NFCC#8.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Replaceable fair use File:Aquaman cast CinemaCon 2018.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Aquaman cast CinemaCon 2018.jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 19:39, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 10:20, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Aquaman (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gold Coast (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

ArbCom 2018 election voter message[edit]

Hello, OhsalveelCesar. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Birds of Prey[edit]

Please engage with the editor at Draft talk:Birds of Prey (2020 film). Not doing so after reverting the edit entirely wholesale is coming off as an act of bad faith. DCEU reverts[edit]

This looks like a common occurance^ but, you repeatedly revert edits from other users purely off of the basis that you are right and they are wrong. Wikipedia is not an opinion-based database. For example: As far as Warner Bros. is concerned Cyborg and Green Lantern Corps both have release dates. Though it is likely that these dates may change - they have not yet done so. Because of this we cannot just assumed that the dates are changed. Until the studio states as much - they still have release dates. If you disagree, you need to take to the respective talk page and get a consensus. As of right now your actions are leading others^ to believe you are acting outside of 'good faith'. Do not revert edits unless you have a source stating why.--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 19:42, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A page you started (Aquaman (soundtrack)) has been reviewed![edit]

Thanks for creating Aquaman (soundtrack).

I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Thanks for developing the article on the Aquaman soundtrack. Note that other editors have called for more evidence that the album is notable enough for its own Wikipedia article. Follow the links in the notice at the top of the article for pointers. Also, information on a non-notable soundtrack is often included as a special section in the associated film's article.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Doomsdayer520}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Shazam! (film); that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 15:41, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Red Notice film official promotional image.jpeg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Red Notice film official promotional image.jpeg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
