Case names
At least "footnoted quotes" and "gamergate" mean something, even if editors pointed towards them are confused as to the relevance. It's not all that long ago people were saying things like "this is a clear Digwuren situation" or "I think Plaxico applies" and expecting other people to know what they were talking about. ‑ Iridescent 15:41, 6 August 2019 (UTC)

- WP:Plaxico was the original WP:BOOMERANG, named after some guy who'd accidentally shot himself (and that actually was the title of the page, it wasn't just a lame attempt at a comical redirect). It was moved, deleted, restored and redeleted so often that the history is hard to piece together, but the text of it survives here. ‑ Iridescent 16:09, 6 August 2019 (UTC)
