A tag has been placed on Three-Zone-Gardening, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. voorts (talk/contributions) 04:01, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've declined the request to delete, as this wasn't promotional enough to meet G11, but it does seem to somewhat "talk up" the concept and large parts are unreferenced. I also do not see any particular indication of sufficient source material to demonstrate notability; blogs and the like are not reliable. I've moved it to a draft at Draft:Three-Zone-Gardening so that you can have some time to either reference or remove the sections lacking references, and see if you can find better sources. Thank you Seraphimblade, I will see what I can do.
In my personal (!) opinion, any proven method that helps to stop the dramatic extinction of species is worth publishing. The UN at least considers the Three-Zone-Gardening concept as noteworthy. And I could't find a single critical publication even in German with thousands of references to the concept. But I understand that this is not the criterion for Wikipedia and will therefore look for better English-language sources. Felix Müller (talk) 09:34, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sources don't have to be in English. As long as a source is reliable, non-English sources are entirely acceptable. Seraphimblade Talk to me 10:36, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
