Proposed deletion of Boothbay Region

The article Boothbay Region has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GEOLAND. "Boothbay Region" is not listed in GNIS, and appears to be an informal location used for marketing and tourism. The Chamber or Commerce also calls it the "Boothbay Harbor Region" and suggests it encompasses the peninsula south of Boothbay, Maine.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. You are removing added information without even taking the time to actually read it. The information is clearly sourced to the Boothbay Register, the local town newspaper that covers events in the community, as well as the high school. The information is sourced by articles written by the Register that provides information on the efforts to build a new school, as well as the recent failure to approve a new school via a vote on the municipal ballot. This article isn't yours to dictate over. It belongs to the public. You cannot delete properly added information just because you didn't even take the time to look it over. If you had, you would have seen the articles linked, but as delusional as you are, you deleted additions without a second thought.
