Hey Meridith, We're supposed to talk to peeps so im here to say sah dude. Alexmb1993 (talk) 23:29, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am thinking about adding to an existing article already on Wikipedia. My topic for my literature review was about hospital readmission rates and the Hospital Readmission Reduction Program that was enacted at the time of the ACA. I used sources to discuss if the HRRP is good for healthcare or not, as hospitals are penalized for high readmission rates. I think I want to add to either the Hospital Readmission article on wiki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hospital_readmission) or add to the section in the ACA article under "Other" in "Provisions" about the HRRP. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act). I don't think I want to start a new article for just the HRRP. Some things I might want to add are statistics or maybe why some hospitals do better than others with the HRRP. I also may want to look at the demographics surrounding successful hospitals, specifically age of patients. My other idea is to just pick a certain condition (for example, heart failure) and add something on that wiki about how often patients are readmitted because of HF. It sounds like you are leaning more toward the first option (related to your literature review), but adding to another page (about a particular condition) could be interesting as well. If you choose the latter option, make sure to read the guidelines for medical content on WP. Amyc29 (talk) 10:10, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Having looked at your draft, I like that you provide a brief introductory paragraph describing what the different programs are and how they came to be enacted. Going forward I assume these individual sections will eventually have their own wikipedia pages so I wouldn't worry too much about comprehensive backgrounds on them. Mentioning their effects based on demographics and other factors is also adds a good depth of information to the article. Looking at the original wikipedia article I would suggest providing a few examples of some of the things you plan to talk about especially in your controversy section. This would really give us a better idea of what is going on in Hospitals and help to contextualise the issue further. Paramount to all of this would be to adhere to the medical guideline of Wikipedia and providing a fair amount of references so that users can check them out for themselves. Looking at your draft I definitely appreciate that you take the time to define terms that some users might not be familiar with and I will look to incorporate that :) 17:18, 19 October 2016 (UTC)PhilA10 (talk)
Hey Meredith! Thanks for taking the time to look at my draft so far. As for your suggestions go, I agree with you on the fact that breaking down the transfer process and the methodology behind pricing players correctly will help my section. I had never considered the impact this would have on players but since you mentioned it, I have been able to add a whole new dimension to my research and have found some great stuff. Thanks a lot for the feedback :) PhilA10 (talk) 02:53, 26 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Article feedback[edit]

I've reviewed the additions you've made to the article hospital readmission. An excellent contribution to the article, cited properly to high quality sources. You might consider making some additions to the introduction of the article to summarize the additions you've made. Please let me know if you have any questions. Hi Rob, thank you for the feedback! I will definitely work on incorporating more into the introduction of the article. MeredithMimoso (talk) 18:10, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
