Greetings! I see you have recently created one or more new stub templates or categories. As it states at Wikipedia:Stub, at the top of most stub categories, and in many other places on Wikipedia, it is recommended that new stub types be proposed prior to creation at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals. This helps to reach consensus about whether the new stub type is already covered by existing stub types, whether it is named according to stub naming guidelines, whether it is otherwise correctly formatted, whether it reaches the standard threshold for creation of a new stub type, and whether it crosses existing stub type hierarchies. Your new stub type is currently listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Discoveries, where comments are welcome as to any rationale for this stub type. Please, in future, consider proposing new stub types first at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals! Waacstats (talk) 00:08, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BoundCon JIP | Talk 19:16, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Max,you'll have noticed that the picture you added to the above article hasn't appeared. That's because it's on the list on MediaWiki:Bad image list, if you put a request on the discussion page, it should be soon allowed on that particular article. The name of the list is rather unfortunate, but it's for anything that has been (or is very likely to be) used for vandalism on the Wikipeidia. I generally oppose photographs on sexuality pages, except for illustrating body parts: it's not normally as illustrative of the act as artwork (though I think this picture is an exception). Also it gives the page the look of a porn page: people have good reason to dislike porn as it's usually the exact opposite of sex education and though none of our pages will be work-safe you can read an encyclopedia sex article with a lot less embarrassment than you can view porn. As for the deletion request on the Commons, I may be wrong in this case, but I think a lot of the nudie shots on Flickr were never intended for publication by their subjects. Thanks all the same, for standing up against this horrible censorship drive. --Simon Speed (talk) 00:17, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PROD[edit]

I see you've removed a prod from a page, correctly as the deletion would be far from uncontroversial. I believe you're supposed to add a {{Deprod}} yo the talk page of the user who added the prod. --Simon Speed (talk) 00:40, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I honestly never knew that, odd. Thanks for the heads-up, I will do so in the future. Max Rebo Band (talk) 00:42, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar[edit]

The Human Sexuality Barnstar
For edits on sexuality articles, but mostly for your work on Commons. You have uploaded some great images, and you really deserve it. Hope you come back, as I see you've been absent for a while. Handcuffed (talk) 03:30, 20 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
