Tagging[edit]

If you have a problem with an editor tagging article as you are doing is not the way to endear yourself to editors, I notice you have only 40 edits and have not been here very long, would you like to have a mentor? Off2riorob (talk) 21:02, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Eva golinger requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I've repaired that article enough to bring it beyond deletion; you may find that it's more helpful, when starting a new article, to make sure it is correctly named (Eva Golinger, not Eva golinger), sourced to reliable sources, and notability established. The text and sources probably still need much work and cleanup, but at least I brought it beyond deletion. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 01:12, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Norwegian government support[edit]

MarturetCR, I have moved the reference to support from the Norwegian government to the 2010 event. The Norwegian newspaper article on the 2009 event said, as far as I can make out, that future support from the Norwegian government was expected, and that expectation happily seems to have been fulfilled now. Hope this change is all right with you. Cheers, --JN466 17:59, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
