July 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • C.S.A.) and tore some of the old American symbols and replaced them, including the national anthem (from "[[The Star-Spangled Banner]]" to "[[Dixie (song)|Dixie]]", ironically written by a northerner.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 16:14, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

March 2015[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to The Last of Us, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Editing like this is bound to be reverted.

  • In the 20 years that follow, 60% of human civilization (possibly even more) has been destroyed by the infection. That's guessing, and not even accurate. 60%, possibly even more?
  • Since the outbreak, the world has gone into a state of fear and turmoil as officials try to fix and maintain the life-threating situation. This is original research, and it doesn't make sense after the first sentence.
  • After the World Health Organization's attempts to procure a vaccine for the infection had failed, the bureaucrats in power and the establishment of the United States government is abrogated and the country is turned into a police state under the control of [[Homeland Security and the U.S. Military, with cities across the nation are placed under martial law one by one -, wait, a police state? Quarantined zones under martial law doesn't mean the whole country is a police state.
  • with massive 30 ft (or higher) containment walls to keep the survivors in. Now, survivors live in either heavily policed quarantine zones, ran by the brutal military forces, or reside in independent settlements and nomadic groups. Again, that's guessing. We've seen Boston, how many others cities does the player see? The military isn't brutal, that's your interpretation. Independent settlements might be true, but what nomadic groups?

Look, it's great that you want to help Wikipedia, but there are certain guidelines. Adding "please don't change!!" to your edit summary isn't exactly helping either. --Soetermans. T / C 12:29, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
