About Your Reviewing of "The Godfather"

Hello. Pardon my unfamiliarity with the topic (as naught that I have created has been reviewed before) but I am slightly confused by this notification that I received this morning:

"The Godfather (fairy tale) was reviewed by RadioFan"

Again, pardon my ignorance, but what (exactly) does that entail? From what I can see, there are no visible differences on that page from afore I had received that notification. Like I said, I'm unfamiliar with the reviewing process, but (due to the fact that I am currently the sole contributor on the aforementioned page) I would appreciate being able to understand the implications of a "reviewing". Excellent question. The review process is a very simple one. A volunteer, in that case me, takes a look at all new articles created by all but the most experienced editors and reviews. During that review we ensure there are sufficient references and that the subject can meet basic notability guidelines. Sometimes some additional tags recommending changes (improved references, rewording of sections, etc.) are added at that step. This helps keep articles that dont meet wikipedia guidelines from cluttering things up.
I see. Thank you for the explanation. Tharthandorf Aquanashi (talk) 12:08, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

Winter Storm Leon

I saw a newspaper article calling the storm that caused chaos in Atlanta "Leon". I did a search and found just the one article where you are the only contributor that is not a bot or something. Is this the only article there is?— Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 19:19, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

Winter storms dont have names, except on The Weather Channel. Unencyclopedic and not something that should be included here.--RadioFan (talk) 02:36, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Whether you want to call it Leon or not does not change the facts. There was a storm and I just want to know what to link to. I did find 2014 Gulf Coast winter storm.— Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 19:05, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Who did what is of no concern to me. The quality of the article and wikipedia as a result is.--RadioFan (talk) 04:22, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
In that case, why say anything at all on my talk page? Refusing to notify the creator prevents him from knowing what to do (he doesn't even know that it's been declined!) and from being able to ask what can be done to improve it. Were I to notify him, it would be confusing because I'm not the decliner. Nyttend (talk) 14:59, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

Need a clarification of your comments

Hi RadioFan,

I need some clarification on your recent decline of the article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/DSEEP

In my previous submission I was told to use footnotes instead of inline citations. This makes sense. The references that I use do not relate to any particular statement in the article. In fact, the references I used relates to the entire article. So I followed the advice of Buffbills7701 and changed the inline citations to footnotes.

In your comment you state that the previous concerns were not addressed. But they were indeed addressed. Are you suggesting that I change the footnotes to inline citations again? Or are there any other issues. Please explain.

Inline citations are definitely preferred, much easier to understand what you used to create this article. However I see no inline citations, only 2 bullets for references.--RadioFan (talk) 03:53, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
