Sir, I do not know whether I am permitted to contact you at this stage while the review is on. Please forgive my intervention. As I understand presently the main concern is about the non- encyclopedic tone of the article and verifiability of the references. You are kindly aware that this is my first attempt to post an article. I have drafted it in accordance with the kind of English I had learnt at the school level. Moreover,I am not a regular writer of English and therefore not conversant with different styles, requirements etc;. Secondly, I have already said that the references I have drawn are from the books etc; I could procure; and now, I assure you that the translation of the citations done by me is correct and there is no reason why they cannot be relied upon. Only because the books etc; relied upon by me are not available online while they do exist please do not assume that the article is lacking clear reliable sources. You have been very helpful but I beg of you not to discount all of my sincere efforts thus. Of course, it will take some time for me to pick up the non-encyclopedic type of writing,I would appreciate some help in this regard. Sir, by addressing these few words I am in no way trying to influence your judgement which I respect.Thanks.YoursTarun marwaha (talk) 03:08, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

It would be best if you shared your thoughts on the review page so all can see, I and others involved in the discussion will respond there but not here.--RadioFan (talk) 20:18, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Sean O'Keefe

Like I said, Wikipedia is not a news source. Once more details are confirmed, then we can add them to his biography. But, as of this point, all we know are some unclear details. It's not fair to put them into already an article chronicling the man's life. aido2002talk·userpage 15:39, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

all details are referenced with reliable sources and are very clear. While it's not fair to speculate that's not what is being done here. Please stop removing this.--RadioFan (talk) 15:43, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

NTSB

Check the source New York Times article carefully, I made the same mistake by miss-reading it, see Talk:2010 Alaska plane crash#Investigation (or my latest contributions). -84user (talk) 23:52, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Sounds good, thanks for catching that. This will flesh out in the coming days.--RadioFan (talk) 23:55, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Footnotes at Ted Stevens

Can you give me tips on footnotes? What was wrong with the way I did it? I clicked the reference icon on the toolbar and pasted in the URLs. I notice frequently a bot or an editor comes along behind me and adds stuff incomprehensible to me. I'd appreciate your advice. --Yopienso (talk) 03:27, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

What you did is fine, the updates I and other editors are making to your reference is to improve their readability and completeness. We are using the citation template which you can read more about in Wikipedia:Citing sources. The tool I'm using to cleanup references is WP:REFLINKS which fetches the title of a news article among other tidbits that help make the reference clearer. It's pretty easy to use and is a good way to learn more about the cite template and good things to put in it. Let me know if you have any specific questions.--RadioFan (talk) 04:14, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
Thank you. If I'm not actually doing anything wrong I'll let you savvy guys do the touching-up. Heaven forbid I learn something new!  ;-) --Yopienso (talk) 14:32, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
By all means learn something new! WP:CITE in particular has good information on richer ways to cite your sources. Try to at least add the title of the article you are linking to, not just the URL.--RadioFan (talk) 14:35, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

DTTR

If you must template the regulars, please try not to leave a "Welcome to Wikipedia" note on someone with 20K edits. :-) Thanks! --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 11:58, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Regulars need to be reminded of civility sometimes too.--RadioFan (talk) 12:02, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
Indeed, but {{uw-agf2}} would have been less rude in this case. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 12:11, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
{{uw-agf2}} is excellent for a gentle reminder but this editor has been reminded many times and blocked many more times for this kind of thing.--RadioFan (talk) 12:20, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

English

Our article on regional differences and dialects in Indian English may prove to be partially enlightening in this discussion. Uncle G (talk) 00:29, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Interesting read, thanks for pointing that out.--RadioFan (talk) 02:29, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Been there, done that, dropped the issue, moved on

Such expressions of rage are to be expected from certain editors. Sadly the consensus seems to be that we just accept it and move on. WikiuserNI (talk) 16:49, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

I love how I was admonished for use of a template to remind a seasoned editor to be nice but a blind eye is turend to this editor's treatment of others.--RadioFan (talk) 20:49, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
I like how his "veteran" status is now used as an excuse to trample others. It's hardly becoming behaviour and I don't think it entirely civil. WikiuserNI (talk) 13:32, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Be Careful

Be careful who you mess with. It has been a long time since I was last banned. I am too valuable to the project now so back off or else... MickMacNee (talk) 17:05, 16 August 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by EeNcaMkciM2010 (talkcontribs)

This looks like impersonation to me. - yes it was, user now blocked. Off2riorob (talk) 16:08, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Its been so long since my talk page was vandalized. I feel all warm and fuzzy now.--RadioFan (talk) 17:48, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Wallace and Gromit

I didn't understand it - there was nothing in that article, or in the category itself, to explain why it was added, and a reader couldn't figure it out because "Wallace and Gromit" isn't a song - if the category had been added to, say, The MTA Song then at least a connection would have been obvious. A category that points to article which gives no indication about *why* the article is in that category is at best pointless and at worst confusing. Don't you think? I see that you have explained it in the article, now. That seems fine to me. - DavidWBrooks (talk) 16:42, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Wallace and Gromit and the space shuttle

Just out of curiosity, why did you remove the "space shuttle wakeup songs" category? You had certainly convinced me, with your edits, that it was appropriate! - DavidWBrooks (talk) 12:14, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Others were not quite so convinced of the category.--RadioFan (talk) 12:22, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
