Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Locky1986, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

May 2020[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 18:26, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Again, Locky, reminding you of what Cabayi posted above. livelikemusic (TALK!) 15:40, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Thirteen Senses, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Waterloo Road (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:00, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

B7 edit[edit]

Do you have a reliable source for this edit? ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 16:18, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the urbanbridges reference calling "Borderline" the second single. This has not been officially confirmed. Given that "Rather Be" has just been released, its speculation to suggest a second single has been confirmed. The instant download of "Rather Be" could be classified as a second single. It is best to wait until further information. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 19:15, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Brandy What About Us Set 2001.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Brandy What About Us Set 2001.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 17:44, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Brandy performing on Broadway in the musical "Chicago".jpg[edit]

A tag has been placed on File:Brandy performing on tour in 2016.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on File:Brandy Borderline Video Club Scene.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Limit to amount of scores listed in Template:Album ratings[edit]

Hi. I've noticed you keep adding reviews/scores to the album ratings template on B7 (album). Per the template's instructions (at Template:Album ratings), it is recommended we include no more than 10 reviews in table form. Most well-maintained album articles on Wikipedia follow this standard, and so should this article. It's great that you're enthusiastic about the material, but just because a review has been published, does not mean it should necessarily be added to the Wikipedia article. We need to pick and choose which material we include on Wikipedia, because we're not an exhaustive source of information. The reception section is beginning to look quite stuffed as it stands. If you reply, please reply here. Ss112 14:00, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Melanie C performing in 2020.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://twitter.com/MelanieCmusic/status/1311802734207791104/photo/2. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
