March 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello! I'm Doniago. Your recent edit(s) to the page Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (film) appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please see WP:FILMLEAD. As noted in the infobox, this isn't strictly a British film. Don't upload pictures you found on the Internet, claiming they're your own work. If you keep this up, you will be blocked. Almost everything on the Internet is copyrighted. Acroterion (talk) 01:56, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
hi i made a mistake with that oops sorry but i will re add the photo and give credit to its respectful owners. Korg82Champ74 (talk) 01:59, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, you won't. It's not yours, so you can't upload it or use it. Acroterion (talk) 02:03, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And don't remove the deletion tags from copyrighted pictures you've uploaded without permission. All images are assumed copyrighted unless they explicitly ahve licenses that state they're compatibly licensed through an acceptable free licensing scheme.Acroterion (talk) 02:14, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Flags in the infobox of American Indian Wars[edit]

Please see the discussion two months ago at Talk:American Indian Wars#Flag icons in the infobox about flag icons in the infobox of American Indian Wars. I wish you had opened a discussion on that talk page before unilaterally restoring excessive flagicons, which I believe goes against the spirit and letter of the guidance at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Icons#Inappropriate use. Donald Albury 15:28, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have started a new discussion on the flag icons at Talk:American Indian Wars#Re-adding of flag icons, and invite your participation. - Donald Albury 15:35, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

September 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cordless Larry. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, British Chinese, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 16:13, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Bonnie-aarons-64dfad849ce1c.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 06:43, 16 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

November 2023[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Fantastic Mr. Fox (film). Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. A film's nationality isn't dependent on where shooting occurred. DonIago (talk) 15:22, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ok but note if you had watched the film it is set in the british countryside the region in unknown but they're are many clues to this that is in England. Korg82Champ74 (talk) 17:51, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Where it's set (or shot) is irrelevant to determining the nationality of the companies that own the film. A film's nationality is determined by the production companies that make the film. DonIago (talk) 22:30, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
