Geographical names[edit]

As for the issue with the Turkish names of Greek islands, I'm with EpiVictor and El Greco. There was a pretty big discussion about this issue last year, and the consensus emerged that it was better to include these foreign names. It's nothing to do with implying any irridentist claims or anything. Since Wikipedia is run by consensus and discussion, I'd ask you to respect what other editors have worked out through a long debate; if you wish to change this consensus you can try to do so but I ask you to review the old discussions first and make sure you understand the arguments. Please read Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names) and Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Greek and Turkish named places). Please do not try to push your opinion through by repeatedly reverting other people's edits, such Edit wars are harmful for the project and may lead to you being blocked from editing. Thank you!
