Talk page comments[edit]

Hi July.love30. I just wanted to let you know I moved your comments on the juvenile delinquency talk page. Normally new comments on talk pages are added at the bottom; you can do this automatically by clicking the "new section" tab when you are on a talk page. This also helps you edit only a particular section on the talk page to reply to a comment.

Also for the sources you have, remember to think about links that are useful to other readers. If you include the link to your university's proxy in the URL for a wikipedia article, everyone who clicks through to the source from outside the university's intranet will be very confused. If you need help with sources or with changes to the juvenile delinquency page, please let me know! Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:24, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![edit]

Hello July.love30 I like that you have interest in the topic of American Civil Rights as well you spoke about Rosa Parks being an influential member in the American Civil Rights Movement, who is typically considered when one thinks about the Civil Rights Movement. Though I have a focus to talk about Emmett Till in the discussion about Civil Rights. Rosa Parks herself stated that Emmett Till was one of the reasons why she did not get up while on the bus. I find it amazing and simply fascinating that you had the chance to get to know Rosa Parks. If you have any other interesting tidbits about the American Civil Rights Movement please send them to my page.

Improvements[edit]

Hi July.love30 The topic you chose was very interesting and was a wise choice as there is a lot that you can write about. Your article is very well-written and I like how you have embedded citations. However, your reference list has some repeated sources because you have cited it more than once in your article. To improve your citation you should name your references. Look at this link to change your reference to ensure you do not have the repeated sources. (Look at the section where you name your references) Hope this helped and good luck! https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a1/Citing_your_sources.pdf --Criticalracetheorist2 (talk) 14:34, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi July.love30. I commend you for choosing such an ambitious topic for your project. The articles are written clearly and follows encyclopaedic guidelines to writing. As Criticalracetheorist2 stated, your references need to be improved. You should list the page in which you found the reference as well as properly citing it using the APA format. There were also bits and pieces of having writing in the same line as the bolded subheading as well as subheadings where writing was scarce (primarily "Controversy"). All in all, it was a pleasure to read, cheers. ApplesandPotatoes (talk) 00:11, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
