AD/CE[edit]

JohnTD2, thanks for your help with Lion man of the Hohlenstein Stadel, but please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Years and longer periods. We don't need to swap back and forth between BC and BCE unless there's a specific reason; both are valid, as long as the article is internally consistent. My apologies, Talk Pages are difficult for me to understand. I hardly ever realize someone is writing to me. I've taken notice of my mistake and now strive to only make such corrections to the articles when it pertains to them. Thank you for the advice. To be fair, I am seeing such pushes from both sides, and it does seem the secular (non-tradtional) side is far more aggressive with much more support.

Orphaned non-free media (File:An illustration of A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings.jpg)[edit]

The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. March 2014[edit]

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Pre-Columbian era. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.

You were warned about era changes last June, November and December. And today before your last edits. Your last edit summary, "(The Archaic period ended 2000 BC, not AD 2000)" disguised the fact that you were making an era change from BCE to BC, let alone the fact that the article didn't say the Archaic period ended in 2000 AD or even CE.
