Welcome![edit]

Hello, Joey6strings, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as We3Kings Music, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Tea House, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! CorporateM (Talk) 03:10, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article We3Kings Music has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't appear to be remotely notable

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Conflict of interest[edit]

If you don't declare your conflict of interest on your talk page, you can lose your editing privileges. This is your only warning. Sundayclose (talk) 21:37, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What is the conflict of interest? Plz explicitly tell me what it is I need to do and / or say? I am simply updating a page with the proper citations as requested. Nothing more, nothing less. I even sent a "Talk" message via Wiki letting the editos know I made an update with the proper citations for then to review and approve. Am I unable to make updates with the proper citations? Does someone else need to make these updates? Can the editors here make these updates if I send them all new approved references? What is the protocol? Please advise. Thank you. 104.172.170.76 (talk) 21:59, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As you have been told repeatedly, READ WP:COI. You said you are assisting Mr. O'Connor. This is a no-brainer. That is a conflict of interest. There is no flexibility here. If you have a COI, you must disclose it. And now you've committed another policy violation: editing while logged out. You cannot evade policy violations by editing from multiple accounts and IP addresses. Sundayclose (talk) 22:35, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

July 2023[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Greg O'Connor. Sundayclose (talk) 21:42, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon Do not use multiple IP addresses to disrupt Wikipedia. Such attempts to avoid detection, circumvent policies or evade blocks or sanctions will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Sundayclose (talk) 22:52, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Hi. I'd like to be reinstated. Nothing I have done has been malicious or false information. Everything I have posted has been 100% factual and was 100% cited by a reputable source. My only "crime" was that I was unaware that we could not update a page for an acquaintance. Now that I know these rules, and agree to abide by them, I would like to be reinstated. Many thanks. Request reason:

Hi. I'd like to be reinstated. Nothing I have added has been malicious or false information. Everything I have posted has been 100% factual and was 100% cited by reputable sources and publications. My additions were not marketing or promotion and I was never paid. My only "crime" was that I was unaware that we could not update a page for an acquaintance. Tens of thousands of members have pages created and updated by their agent, manager, colleague, paid service. Therefore, I was unaware of any COI. However, now that I know these rules, and agree to abide by them, I would like to be reinstated. Many thanks. Joey6strings (talk) 19:56, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Well, first of all, do read this, and then note that you were warned about using IPs and other accounts, which you didn't address in this request. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:42, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
