Dave Rajput ‎[edit]

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for your article about Dave Rajput. While there is a lot of interesting information there, it's not all encyclopedic content. You might want to look at an article like Charlie Brown (DJ) that is much more encylopedic in tone. References, too, are Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, particularly the sections 2.2, 2.3, 2.5.

I ran the program to check disambiguation situations (where a link will route to a page with alternatives for the reader to select articles) and made the changes in the article, see here. Generally it's not recommended to use multiple wikilinks in an article, because it can overwhelm the page and make it difficult for the reader to spot the new/additional links. It may also be a system issue, because the WP:AWB program identifies multiple uses of the same link.--CaroleHenson (talk) 17:15, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Carole, again thanks for the help and adjustments to the page. I worked on the page in the middle of the night one day, when I added the items showing some of Rajput's recordings. I've been sick so just getting better today-I will add more and try to write more in the encyclopedic style that is suggested. The last time I wrote this must was in college,(have a BA in Architectural History, Urban Planning) so my bio writing style is still coming around. I'll work on it more and see what I can do. I have a stack of the cd's (recordings) he made while with Promo Only and I have a Hot Mix cd box with name etc was thinking of scanning it and posting the image. I know that a lot of bio's include race, family, personal stuff-but this person does not want these included so I need to get around that problem. JenniferChicago 20:29, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
