James Edwards

I have reason to believe you may have taken some photos of James Edwards. We currently do not have any free photos of James Edwards. Would you be willing to release one of your photos of him into the public domain or one of the free licenses? You might want to read this page for more information. It would definitely help us improve our article on The Political Cesspool, which is currently a featured article but does not have a picture of Edwards, which it should have. Thanks for your reply. Uploading photos to Wikipedia is very easy, see this form, which gives you instructions on how to upload images. First, use the "Browse" button to find the file that you want to upload from your computer. Second, select a "destination filename" (that's the filename the file will be stored under on Wikipedia; it can be anything as long as the name isn't alreaday taken by another file). Third, type a summary (author, date/location taken, or any other relevant information). Fourth, use the drop-down menu to select a license under which you choose to release the photo. You can choose public domain or any one of the 4 different Creative Commons licenses. Finally, click the Upload File button and you should be done. Hope that helps. Thanks for uploading File:Jamie Kelso photograph taken in 2006.jpg, which you've attributed to http://www.whitenewsnow.com. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
