Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Untitled Horror Movie. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Please stop placing bare URL links in articles and also in edit summaries also for that matter. Thankyou Djm-leighpark (talk) 22:57, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My edits[edit]

Hello all who visit this page I make edits entirely out of good faith. I’m new to wiki editing and don’t have that much computer sci knowledge thanks for all the constructive criticism and reminding me of the policies. I appreciate it. Jamesjjohnson18 (talk) 23:01, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou for our good faith response, that is very encouraging. Seeing the URLs in the edit summaries meant I was really concerned and seeing bare URLs in the text of an article you edited made me very concerned. One easy way to add a reference when starting it to enclose it between the html tags <ref> and </ref>, e.g. <ref>https://www.example.com</ref>.[1] If you really get clear you could then add {{Cleanup bare URLs}} at the top of the page and someone will come along and clean the bare URLs up! Others will suggest other things, ask at WP:TEAHOUSE as I confuse people more than help them. Thanks. Djm-leighpark (talk) 23:34, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You’re welcome, do you know how to add pictures on wiki articles? I’m surprised IMDB has untitled horror movie theatrical poster up on their website & the same picture it’s in a couple news articles & on the official website for the movie for everyone to see, so I’m just surprised no one has added that yet to that specific article. -james 4:55pm PST may 6 2021
