A tag has been placed on Senglea Athletics, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. TorstenGuise 15:51, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Senglea Athletics Badge.JPG, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Senglea Athletics Badge.JPG is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Senglea Athletics Badge.JPG itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 21:00, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Francesco_Bolzoni.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Francesco_Bolzoni.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:58, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello - please don't add transfer speculation to articles in a way that makes them see like done deals. Palacios has been linked with Birmingham City but there has been no official announcement from the club or any reliable websites (for example Sky Sports or BBC), so don't say that he is now a "Birmingham City player". Thanks, ugen64 18:28, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

August 2007[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that recently you carried out a copy and paste page move from Senglea Athletics Football Club. Please do not move articles by copying and pasting them because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself using the move link at the top of the page, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. -- lucasbfr talk 17:31, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cut & Paste Moves[edit]

Please read the comment above posted by User:Lucasbfr and stop moving content by cut&paste as you did now to Ta' Qali. --Oxymoron83 19:15, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from Ta' Qali. Please be careful when editing pages and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. National Team Caps[edit]

JEPAAB. National Team section on info box only refers to full Senior Nationals Caps. All other caps need to be added to any written paragraph you wish to add. Also if they have no caps for a player then there is no point putting 0 (0). Being in a squad is not the same thing but you can cite referencies that a player has been selected for his national squad. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blgeoverlord (talkcontribs) 13:46, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Non-Free Logo (last warn)[edit]

please read Wikipedia:Non-free content and what the Fair-use rationale on Image:FC Internazionale logo.png before adding on article that not outside the Fair-use rationale Matthew_hk tc 20:50, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Youth trophy and friendly trophy[edit]

Do you found any Youth trophy and friendly trophy on Steven Gerrard's honour list?

There is no need to list out trophy likes Tim trophy and alike were on player's article, IT JUST NON-NOTABLE. Marginal case for the youth trophy held by the countries FA, or famopus national team friendly trophy. Matthew_hk tc 20:56, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

National Caps[edit]

JEPAAB, thats fine by me but lets leave out any 0 (0). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blgeoverlord (talkcontribs) 08:53, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Non-Free Logos[edit]

Logos are non-free and are therefore allowed only and solely in the main club's website. This is our fair use policy, so please accept it. And please avoid excessive usage of flags into infoboxes. --Angelo 14:58, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Matthew_hk tc 15:16, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Friendly Honours[edit]

Goodness is subjective. Friendly matches have much less coverage than equally important competitive correspondants, they are quickly forgotten in a couple of weeks by all people (mainly because they are just non-competitive), and have no official recognition by any national or international football body, so there's no reason to feature them into an encyclopedia into an article about a single player. You have no consensus at all in support of your additions and all you're doing is just creating an edit war on a really trivial issue, so you're pleased not to add such information into the article before having started a discussion in the related talkpage and found a supportive consensus. Thanks in advance. --Angelo 18:49, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They are soon forgotten because they are unimportant. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, there are things that deserve to be described and thing that simply don't. In any case, you cannot push your version without a consensus. Be smart and accept our rules, discussing the subject here, rather than pushing your own vision of the things. --Angelo 20:03, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Bad information exist, that's why we have WP:NOT. It seems like you don't know (or don't care) about the policy, the guidelines and all the rules we have established to make Wikipedia become a serious and valuable project. You're suggested to follow them, if you don't wanna look like a disruptive editor. --Angelo 20:15, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, in case you still don't know about our policies and guidelines, please consider reading them. Many of them are linked from my comments, they will teach you how things work on Wikipedia; in case you've got some doubts, ask me and I'll give you an answer, I am an admin with a 3-year-long experience with football articles in Wikipedia, so probably I could help you with policies, guidelines, etc.. Keep in mind everything here is based on collaborative effort, so open a discussion if you really care about including such information and try to build a consensus in support of your proposed edits. You can see your additions as fine, but someone else could not agree about that; in that case, rather than pushing your own version, all you have to do is to open a discussion and see what the community thinks about the issue. That's how things work here. --Angelo 20:42, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Chasing Pandora, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.chasingpandora.com/default.aspx. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 21:17, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No copyvios[edit]

You copied-and-pasted from another website, so it was a copyright violation. That's why I had to delete it, we have a strict policy on copyright issues that forces us to remove any copyrighted content at sight in order not to allow people to find unfree contents just by clicking the "history" button. --Angelo 21:36, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Please compose a reliably-sourced, neutral point-of-view, non-copyvio version of the article in your userspace, perhaps at User:JEPAAB/Bitterside. When finished, take the draft to deletion review for approval. Best wishes, Xoloz 15:24, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Bitterside[edit]

Bitterside, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Bitterside satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bitterside and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Bitterside during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. -- Jreferee (Talk) 03:04, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm disappointed you chose to restore the copyrighted text I tried to rework as an attempt to save this article from deletion. I can see that further edits on my part would only result in an edit war, so I'm going to give up and let the deletion process continue. Reading the other comments on your talk page, this seems to be a recurring theme. It needn't be, as you have the beginnings of what I think is an article on a notable subject. --Mud4t 07:23, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So since I decided to undo your contribution for Bitterside, then you chose to state arguments agaisnt the article that there is a copying violation.
JEPAAB 08:24, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. The edits I made were to remove the copyright violations. When you reinstated the copyvio wording, it makes the article a candidate for speedy deletion again. If you fix the copyviolations, that will only leave the POV and references as debatable issues. Believe it or not, I really was trying to help everyone, as I thought it was a worthy article but don't want to see wikipedia mirroring copyrighted promotional sites. --Mud4t 08:37, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

National football squad templates[edit]

There is an established consensus against national football team templates, with a very few exceptions for winning teams, surely not for a qualification squad that changes time by time. Be careful when you judge me, I just started a proposal according to the current notability rules, read the discussion and you'll understand I'm not the only one to think so. It's not my fault if you don't want to stop ignoring our policies and guidelines despite all the warning you received. --Angelo 21:17, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I never blocked a single user, not even an IP, as you can see directly from my log [1]. All you have to do is just fully accepting our policies, guidelines and manuals of style. Is it that hard to you? --Angelo 21:29, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
About deletions, they were mostly speedy deletions of test articles, spam/advertisement and schoolboy kids who started their own article writing about their adolescential life. But maybe you just don't care. About Bolzoni, you forced me to block the article as you've repeatedly proven you just don't care about what the others think about your own point of view. You had no consensus in support of your edits, so you had no right to include that kind of information. --Angelo 21:55, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Friendly awards have never been featured in no article at all. What you're doing is just pushing your own point of view, never trying to make an attempt to find a consensus. I have all the right to protect the page as you started an edit war on the issue by continuously pushing your own version, never trying to start a discussion in the right place. Consensus, collaboration, discussion: keep in mind these keywords, read them carefully and learn them, because these are the basic concept where Wikipedia is built upon. Not "good" information (what is good to you is not necessarily good to me, keep in mind this). This is an encyclopedia, not a messy repository of any kind of information. --Angelo 22:14, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Chasing Pandora. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Please see the article's talk page for more info --Mud4t 11:53, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've copied the article to Talk:Chasing_Pandora/Temp per the copyvio template's instructions. I think you should do your work on that version for now. I'll be back to check tomorrow. One more thing...I just realized from your user page that you're 15. That's incredible! You're doing a lot of good things here, just be sure not to copy and paste from other websites as a method of creating wikipedia articles. It's very hard to create new articles, I know. --Mud4t 12:56, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

usage of flagicons in infobox[edit]

Acording to WP:FLAG, the flagicons are redundant. Also, according to WikiProject Football's Player's template, flagicons are not to be used in the infobox.

a further discussion at here also sort of provide a general consensus that flagicons are not to be used. thanks Xaiver0510 12:46, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've just edited Enrico Alfonso, in particular I've removed the flag from his birthplace, and removed the stack of under-age teams played for. As they're mentioned in the article, there's not much point listing them again in the infobox without any years or appearances, though you're welcome to put them back if the years and appearances are included accurately.
Let me explain the use of flags in infoboxes. There are two points.
I'll explain to User:Xaiver0510 that a single flag icon is allowed against the national team. hope this helps, cheers, Struway2 09:31, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ira Losco - Fortune Teller.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ira Losco - Fortune Teller.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 19:00, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Senglea Athletic F.C. season 2009-10 has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

If you can find reliable sources that address the topic in detail, this could still be rescued, so good luck (if you're reading this, since it's now over a year since your last edit). Alzarian16 (talk) 11:40, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Senglea Athletic F.C. season 2009-10[edit]

Hello JEPAAB,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Senglea Athletic F.C. season 2009-10 for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Dom497 (talk) 19:09, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article 2011–12 Senglea Athletic F.C. season has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is about season for a Maltese lower league association football club, such articles do neither meet the notability criteria of WP:FOOTY nor WP:N. Article is also completely unsourced, hence failing WP:V.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
