Proposed deletion of Donald Trump's tweets[edit]

The article Donald Trump's tweets has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Clearly not a topic that warrants its own article, any signifigant material should be covered in Trump's article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Talk page on Trump's tweets[edit]

Hi, I nominated your page for deletion because redirects don't get talk pages. I only saw it because I nominated the original page for deletion, so it was on my Watch list. Regular users would never have seen it. If you want to discuss spinning off such an article you should propose it on the talk page for the main Trump article or try using the Articles for creation process. While I understand what you're trying to to, in my experience it's unlikely it will stand up as an article on its own. You're probably better off adding a section about it to Trump's page. Hope this helps! JamesG5 (talk) 17:48, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Barth2032 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. The article Liz Dozier has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Liz Dozier[edit]

The reference in the article seems to make no mention of either Liz Dozier or Chicago Beyond, so does not support the article. There is no indication what Chicago Beyond is, so saying that she is its managing director does not credibly indicate her importance or significance. If you have a better reference and more information about this person, please expand the article. Thanks. PamD 17:31, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm on day 4. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Student government party, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WP:NOT#DICTIONARY Insufficient content to justify article

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Internal conflict in the United States requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Prods[edit]

Hello. WP:AFD is not the same as WP:PROD. PRODs are for uncontroversial deletion. They are almost never usable for articles which have been previously nominated for deletion at AFD. r/The Donald has been nominated twice: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion//r/The Donald and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/R/The Donald. If someone contests a prod by removing the notice, that's also enough to make it controversial, thus ending the prod. Don't reprod an article, it's a waste of time and could be seen as disruptive. What's your point? If you can't be bothered to do it yourself no one else is going to source questionable edits like these for you. And I doubt that most of them could even be sourced, or that they would survive in the articles even if they were sourced. "It has been heavily researched in academia, including Cornell." Who says so? And what's special about Cornell? Why would we make a point of mentioning Cornell? And why is this worth mentioning in the article at all, let alone in the lede? Read WP:RS. That's not an independent source. And since you didn't link to it I have no way of verifying that it really says that. I have my doubts. Are you sure you're not conflating Conway's Game of Life (which probably is associated with Cornell) with Poietic Generator? The article makes no mention of this work being associated with Cornell. The article Ad lib rap has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced, no indication this is anything but WP:OR.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Your talk page is littered with cautions from other editors about less-than-useful edits, and about articles you created which are destined for deletion. I just reverted this edit where you added to the Kodak Black article that "His cousin is a football player at ECU" (with a source). Wikipedia is not a repository of vacuous information; it's an encyclopedia used by millions, and many of its editors are very dedicated. These same editors also care far more about the project--in my experience and opinion--than about any one particular editor who does not appear to care much about "getting it". At the top of your talk page is a welcome message with many useful links. I urge you to read it, so you can improve your editing skills and reduce the amount of time other editors are expending on your edits. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 01:07, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Anime in hip hop requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
