Three copies of same article?[edit]

I've noticed that you created Reflexive Self-Consciousness, Reflexive self-consiousness and Reflexive self-consciousness as three separate articles. I've added some templates and stub categories to each in order to help attract more editors that can help you with these articles. I'm not sure exactly what you are doing, but you may want to look at Wikipedia:Merging and moving pages and Wikipedia:Redirect to help sort things out. Thanks. Mermaid from the Baltic Sea 20:20, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help[edit]

I knew there were two, didn't realise there were three. I was having problems because my links didn't work if some were in lower case (as name of a concept) and some were in title case (as name of a book) - so I put in one with each case. I'm also not sure if I am using the right method to reply to your messages. Hephzi 20:40, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You can reply on my talk page or yours, but I'm more likely to notice it as soon as I log in if it's on mine. You can also seek help from many others, such as the help desk. I may not be around when you need help. Normally, Wikipedia internal links depend on case, but articles (except for special cases such as a person's name or the title of a book or movie) only have the first word capitalized. I hope that helps. Well, I'm logging off soon so don't be shy about asking other helpful people. There are a lot of us around. Mermaid from the Baltic Sea 21:12, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Reflexive self-consciousness requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. License tagging for File:Käthe Schuftan.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Käthe Schuftan.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:05, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work, but note that Original Research is not allowed[edit]

Hello, overall your article on Schuftan is a great contribution, but please note that you must removed any WP:Original research from the article. Encyclopedias contain only already-documented facts. We cannot include unpublished opinions, conjecture, etc. It's fine to say "Professor so-and-so theorizes [citation to said prof's essay]" but it is not admissible to say "I conclude that..." So please weed through the article to remove any personal opinions, things you personally now, results or your personal phone calls, reading of old letters, etc.

Also, note that an article is not an advocacy page, so personal appeals like They would welcome any information about her life and work are not allowed.

I'm glad you're finding this a useful platform to share knowledge, but please do work within the boundaries of the rules so we can maintain consistent method across Wikipedia. MatthewVanitas (talk) 19:37, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much, that's very encouraging Hephzi (talk) 20:22, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

January 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Käthe Schuftan. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. — kikichugirl speak up! 20:20, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

1 February 2015[edit]

Question: I've tried, by looking at code, to add a Category page, "People from Manchester by Occupation: Artists" to add to my pages "Käthe Schuftan" and "Eugene Halliday" (that's Manchester UK) - but sorry, I can't figure out how to do it. If someone could help I would be most grateful. Hephzi (talk) 10:02, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A page you started (Käthe Schuftan) has been reviewed![edit]

Thanks for creating Käthe Schuftan, Hephzibah Yohannan!

Wikipedia editor WordSeventeen just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

Thanks for creating this well thought out and researched article.

To reply, leave a comment on WordSeventeen's talk page.

19 February 2015[edit]

I left a message on WordSeventeen's page - "Many thanks for your message on Käthe Schuftan's page"

And - Thank you for adding the new Category "People from Manchester by Occupation: Artists" to add to my pages "Käthe Schuftan" and "Eugene Halliday" (that's Manchester UK)

However, it's still not how I meant it to be - I think I must not have worded my question properly - I wanted it to be part of this page - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:People_from_Manchester_by_occupation - so it would be: "Artists from Manchester". Then other artists can be added to the category.

Please could someone help? I think WordSeventeen may be busy, which I appreciate. Many thanks Hephzi (talk) 23:47, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
