Please stop inserting your links. Just because you create a heading called "Sources" does not mean you can re-insert any link into Wikipedia under this heading. This is spamming, if you continue, you may be blocked from editing. If you have a problem, discuss it. If you refuse to do so, it looks like vandalism. Mrtea (talk) 10:29, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Links don't have to be commercial to be spam. Adding the same type of link to multiple articles can be spamming, especially when the link is of questionable usefulness. To utilize the content of your link, one must download software which, while free, is not feasible for many. Links should provide content that doesn't require the reader to download anything. Please see WP:EL, Wikipedia's external links guidelines, section "Links to normally be avoided", point #6:
Also, no one is "harassing" you; your link is being disagreed with. If you keep re-adding it, people will continue to disagree with it and leave warnings. This is standard Wikipedia practice. --AbsolutDan (talk) 13:12, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Oh and the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so everyone always says to fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers.
