GeorgeJack. I taught at univ. Of Memphis with John. Was part of his recovery ministry. Would like to find a way to learn more about him. It seems his possie trys to protect his memory and i would just like more information. How can we do that? I m not a voyuer or wierdo, just think his work can be more honored with the truth...not after dirty laundry. Before his death he was working on a lengthy discussion of trauma and its relationship to addiction. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by California68 (talkcontribs) 15:16, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dear George, how are you? I noticed that you removed the date of death of musician David Castle from the article. I'm a fan of his, but I'm from Brazil and I'm not sure where to look for a reliable source to introduce in the article. I already took a look, but I didn't find it. The date is correct. He actually passed away on May 8, 2019. Here is a post from his wife, recalling the date ... unfortunately I know that we cannot use Facebook as a source of information. If you read the comments you will notice that the Wikipedia article was mentioned by a friend. Well ... if I can help you find a source to quote his death ... but it seems to me that, unfortunately, his death was not reported in the media. Forgive my English, I hope you understand. I just saw this edit in my notifications. For some reason, it did not appear; perhaps I clicked something incorrectly in my preferences. I'd like to personally thank you for your kind words. I also appreciate the word correction. I wasn't sure if the word was overly dramatic, so I changed it, but perhaps that wasn't the case after all. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring, as you did at Death of Ana Clara Benevides. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 17:45, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"you are welcome to make useful contributions", you must be kidding. Get stuffed. I quit. My time and health is too precious to kick back with horses. Block me permanently right away. You think I would ever return here after 72 hours and contribute to Wikipedia as if nothing ever happened? I’m not a sucker. I’ll give a reason to block me permanently. My big F**k you all.
