Hi, Geomean. Welcome to Wikipedia. I guess you haven't had a chance yet to read up on the policies and guidelines in the links above. It's very important that everyone who wants to edit Wikipedia familiarize themselves with these policies and guidelines. One of the most central of these is the policy of no original research. This means that everything in Wikipedia is supposed to be footnoted or otherwise referenced to a published or online reputable source. Personal knowledge of someone can never used be unless it appears in a book, magazine or newspaper article or a journalistic or academic online source.

Please read the policies that are bluelinked here. I'm afraid if anyone inserts edits based on ostensible personal knowledge, those edits can be immediately removed, and if anyone persists in restoring such original-research edits, such editors may be blocked by an admin for various amounts of time.

Thanks for understanding, please read up on the policies, and have a good and productive time on Wikipedia! --Tenebrae (talk) 01:08, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
