Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I see you have already started making useful contributions to this resource. You will find that articles on geography need a lot more work. Should your interests include more articles on Minnesota, there are a number that need work.

One way you can help protect your contributions is by citing references for your contributions. That is often easier to do at the outset rather than coming back later. If you need any assistance with that, feel free to ask questions here (I will watch this page) and I will try to help.

Again, thank you for your contributions. We hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia. Kablammo 01:06, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here are some additional resources which may be of help:

There are a number of projects where you can discuss subjects which may interest you. Wikipedia:WikiProject Minnesota is one. Thank you. Kablammo 01:12, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

One other note: When you upload pictures which you have taken, you have to provide a licensing tag which demonstrates that you have released your work into the public domain. If you do not, a bot will wander by and put a big notice on your page. All you have to do is add the following:
{{PD-self}}
and the template tag will be generated. Kablammo 01:27, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Misquah Hills[edit]

Nice contribution to the Misquah Hills article. I started the article myself but I've never been there and my reference materials are pretty limited. I appreciate your work to improve this existing article and I'm confident that, provided your writing remains crisp and concise, others will be equally pleased with your contributions. Hi Spottacus; thanks much for your encouragement, and thanks for starting the article. This is my first attempt at contributing to Wikipedia. I live on the East Coast, but love visiting the Misquahs when I can. They're worth a visit; very beautiful, and very quiet. I'll try to come up with more geography articles in the future.Geograph66n 21:48, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Geo, see my response to your posting on my talk page. Brain Rodeo 19:12, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Section rewrite needed Talk:Laurentian Upland[edit]

Please see comments on Talk:Laurentian Upland. The section about the Laurentian Highlands seems to be a copyvio of the article Home > The Canadian Encyclopedia > Geography > Land Features > Laurentian Highlands IMHO the wikipedia article needs a re-write. This query is being sent to you as you have done revisions/corrections to the article Laurentian Upland. SriMesh | talk 01:09, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
