Why did you decide to chop off 20,000 bytes from your draft? !dave 13:09, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I concur. It's a decent page, it should be in the Article space. I have to say, this is the first time I've ever seen a creator oppose a draft acceptance! Primefac (talk) 13:19, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm very sorry for doing so, but please-please-please with a cheese on a cracker, could you kill this page or move it to drafts or whatever. Something that shouldn't have been done was done and there are no excuses for that.--Dzmzh
Um, okay. Primefac, G7-able? !dave 13:26, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You're going to have to be more specific - what do you mean "something that shouldn't have been done"?
(edit conflict) dave, I'd like to hear the reason first. Primefac (talk) 13:27, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This is a page of a company I work for, I wrote it with my best intentions and published without letting anyone know. As a result, it caused a serious shit storm and it's basically either this page or me now, no matter how stupid this might sound.--Dzmzh
When you wrote the article, you agreed to release your contributions under the CC BY-SA 3.0 license and GFDL. I'm sorry if this got you into trouble at work, but that is not a valid reason for deletion.--Atlan (talk) 15:38, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. Let Wikipedia live long and prosper then.--Dzmzh
Atlan: It occurs to me that a potential way that it could be deleted is if Dzmzh's employment assigns copyright of their work related to the company to the company, meaning they have no right to grant a license to Wikipedia (but IANAL). Perhaps? —{{u|Goldenshimmer}}|✝️|they/their|😹|T/C|☮️|John 15:12|🍂 17:03, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Atlan and Goldenshimmer:, WP:G7 is a perfectly acceptable reason for deleting the page provided the author is the only significant contributor. This is the case, so I'll delete the page. Primefac (talk) 17:17, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for helping me out. I'm terribly sorry for all this mess.--Dzmzh
