Malcolm X and the quote box at Malcolm X#Media Attention to Malcolm X over Muhammad

The quote box you added to this section has been removed. The first addition had no supporting citation—that problem is fixable. But a second problem remained—The section really is not about Malcolm X's thoughts on the media. The section begins to explain Elijah Muhummad's dissatisfaction with Malcolm X. The quote in the box is not related to the section contents.

Quotations and text should not be shoe-horned into articles, but should be placed appropriately so as to maintain meaning and flow. This is especially important in [[WP:Featured articles] |Featured articles]] In addition, Featured articles require the very best sources: goodreads does not meet this standard—a better source is the original publication or a well-respected biography. — Neonorange (Phil) 11:54, 7 October 2020 (UTC)

@Neonorange and Neonorange: I created a new section titled === Media control over the population === and put the Malcolm X quote in it. Here is what I typed out for it.

Malcolm was very concerned with how the mass media could control the minds of the masses, and how it could be used to manipulate people's minds.

This was backed with a huffingtonpost source. Here is another source that mention this malcolm X quote on page 4 of the article https://sophia.stkate.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1478&context=msw_papers I would like for the quote to stay in the article. If you would find a better place or create another section for putting the quote in there, I would appreciate you doing so. Thanks. Desslock97 (talk) 03:27, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
