Hello @Ziyush: Sorry for getting to this much late - was on a break due to family issues. I see that the article is already deleted at the AFD and rightfully so because the subject is not yet notable and does not pass notability guidelines for politicians as explained here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:NPOL Have a great day. New Page Patrol December Newsletter

Hello Csgir,

A chart of the 2020 New Page Patrol Queue

Year in review

It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

Reviewer of the Year

John B123 has been named reviewer of the year for 2020. John has held the permission for just over 6 months and in that time has helped cut into the queue by reviewing more than 18,000 articles. His talk page shows his efforts to communicate with users, upholding NPP's goal of nurturing new users and quality over quantity.

NPP Technical Achievement Award

As a special recognition and thank you DannyS712 has been awarded the first NPP Technical Achievement Award. His work programming the bot has helped us patrol redirects tremendously - more than 60,000 redirects this past year. This has been a large contribution to New Page Patrol and definitely is worthy of recognition.

Headquarters v. Headquarter

Csgir Thanks for copy editing the page on Tirupattur. Minor point, but thought you'd appreciate the feedback since it looks like you do a lot of copy editing—it should be "is the headquarters" not "is the headquarter." The noun is always plural, but can take a singular or plural verb. I had to look it up myself:

https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/headquarters

https://www.btb.termiumplus.gc.ca/tpv2guides/guides/wrtps/index-eng.html?lang=eng&lettr=indx_catlog_h&page=96k4U5Ch5RvA.html

If it sounds weird, "The town of Tirupathur serves as the headquarters for..." or "Tirupathur is the capital of..." also works, too.

Cheers, Fredlesaltique (talk) 05:39, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

Fredlesaltique, Hi, thank you for the correction. Much appreciated! The article still needs a lot of work - on it. Csgir (talk) 11:05, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

Copypaste for Battle of Humera

Hello Csgir I'm a bit confused about how the article is copypasted

First of all, it marks "the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF)" as copypasted even though that is literally the name of the armed group Ethiopia is fighting. The second one is "Tigray special forces had already" Tigray special forces is the name of a unit within the TPLF and had already is just a simple phrase. The third is "AK47s [assault rifles], machine guns, and snipers" This is just a listing of the militias' weaponry.

I also don't get how "the vicinity of the hospital compound", "at a camp near the", "Eritrea with heavy weaponry, but", "On the morning of November 9", and "The shelling continued into the evening" is considered copypasted.

The biggest one is: "One doctor said: "Civilians started arriving in the hospital with injuries to the abdomen, chest, head. We were at a loss ... People with no hands, people with their stomachs hanging out. This continued the whole day. I don’t know how he did it, but a young boy brought a woman to the hospital; her intestines were out. He had tried to tie a scarf around her waist. We somehow managed to stitch her up." But that is a quote so I don't see how that is copypasted.

The only copypasted text I could find is "mortar and tank fire came from Eritrea, killing and wounding civilians", "the staff, concerned that the hospital could be hit, took 50 injured people, including six", and "at soldiers crossing the Tekeze bridge from Eritrea into Ethiopia"

Thank you for your time. Wowzers122 (talk) 16:41, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

Wowzers122, Hello, thank you for writing in & for creating the page. When I was reviewing the article, the copyvios tool showed a more than 50% similarity; hence, I added the tag to come back later and work on it, and for other editors stumbling upon the page in the meantime. From the Battle of Humera page, go to Page > Analysis > Copyright vio Detection option to view the similarities. Hope this helps. Csgir (talk) 05:51, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

Regarding Undo on EaseMyTrip

The information which I added on the EaseMyTrip Wikipedia page was essential as users should know when the Company is planning for its Initial Public Offering which is going to be in the history of the company forever. It may be a mistake to add the information in the first paragraph but the information is crucial for the company page and the article deserves to be displayed on Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.96.219.3 (talk) 08:37, 4 March 2021 (UTC)

Editing - please take care

Hallo, Thanks for your contributions, but there are a couple of points to note:

Please don't add the category Category:Women in Red 2021 or similar to articles, as you did to Hannah Barnett-Trager: it's a category for pages within the project structure. See Talk:Hannah Barnett-Trager for the WiR banner which has been there since the article was created.

Looking at your contributions, I spotted this. Please do not "correct" the spelling in a UK-based article to US spelling. For more information on the kind of differences to be aware of, see American and British English spelling differences and for Wikipedia policy see WP:ENGVAR.

There's a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia, but it's an interesting journey. Thanks. PamD 08:13, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

Deletion of important content

hi Why have you deleted several important content from the narayan dynasty — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaurav 3894 (talkcontribs) 04:11, 24 June 2021 (UTC)

Gaurav 3894, Hello, read the article again. No important content was removed - the language was rewritten to make it encyclopedic.
Statements like "HH Maharaja Sir Ishwari Prasad Narayan Singh ascended to Baikunth several months later" are unencyclopedic. He died - simple. Furthermore, uncited information and embellishments (like the quoted line above) are often deleted.
I will be going ahead and reverting your reverts. The page was marked for copyediting and that's what I had done. If you have problem with it - discuss it on the Talk page - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Narayan_dynasty - before reverting someone's work without giving any reason.
Thanks & have a good day. Csgir (talk) 05:05, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
