Brian Babin Sourced Content Removal[edit]

The discussion is ongoing in the Talk:Brian_Babin page about this text. Please do not remove until consensus has been reached. Additionally, the BLPWatch template should be added to the article source, not used as an edit summary. The BLPWatch bot (if it's still around & working) would then add the page to the list of articles to watch, from what I see on the Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/BLPWatch article. Additionally, if you believe you have been libeled, please read Wikipedia:Libel. Otherwise read Wikipedia:No legal threats. Thanks, Stesmo (talk) 03:29, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Wikiblanks, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Bot is still active. The consensus among admins (if you bother to read) was that the sources posted about a living person who was not the subject of this wiki should not be included. The sources and assumptions are not verifiable and only serve as a medium for the Libel of the individual who cannot and will not dignify such comments. The poster Tiller54 figured out some how to get the offending material reposted today with lies and innuendo after it had been deleted several weeks ago. Tiller54 obviously has an axe to grind and is believed to be the subject of the posted material. You are enabling this individual by allowing the repost of Libel. Please know that posting Libel in the state of Texas is a criminal act.Childprotect1 (talk) 03:37, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A consensus has already been reached in this matter. The person Tiller54 who has bragged about destroying Brian Babin has come back after the dust had cleared came back and changed it back to his original rendition.Childprotect1 (talk) 03:45, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:BLPWATCH requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page's talk page, where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. tutterMouse (talk) 12:10, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
