Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Truck. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. Request reason:

My account is not for the purpose of self-promotion or advertising, it is simply to add information to car-related wikipedia pages that wasn't there previously. Sometimes my cites come from my site only because that is where the inofrmation is located. If this is a problem, then I will stop citing that website, but I am simply trying to make wikipedia pages contain more useful information

Sure, but what about if I give original information (ie from driving a car or having personal expirience with a car modifiction...)

Personal experiences or other personal information are not acceptable as reliable sources, whether they are on your blog or you give them directly. Wikipedia only summarizes what independent reliable sources state, those sources must have a reputation for editorial control and fact checking, which is impossible for personal experiences.
