Well, I found it strange seeing that nobody has contacted you yet; you've done a sizable bit of editing. And I know what you mean about the policies; welcoming users is usually the best way to get them up to date on policy, as hunting around can sometimes be fairly hard. So if you ever need any help, feel free to buzz me! :D Cheers, Master of Puppets Giant Enemy Crab! 06:24, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lowell High School[edit]

While I appreciate your enthusiasm on the Margaret Cho edits, facts as to SOTA vs. McAteer are covered in the Margaret Cho and SOTA article, which is where they are most suitably covered. Arguably it might even be better to completely leave a reference to SOTA or McAteer out and leave the matter to the other articles. A debate (or forestalling one) between the two is unnecessary since neither position in the description affects Cho's notability in relation to Lowell. WP:SCH#Structure will explain where I'm coming from. I will keep your suggestion to review the edit history in mind. Zedla 02:38, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, CWesling. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:KingdomOfLoathing.gif) was found at the following location: User:CWesling. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 05:29, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Vms shark hp.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Vms shark hp.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:08, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

The Red Green Wiki[edit]

Hi there. I noticed you contributed to List of The Red Green Show episodes, so I wanted to invite you to join a new wiki devoted to that show. The Red Green Wiki is at http://redgreen.wikia.com , and it's just getting started. Eventually, the wiki will catalog virtually everything about the show, all of its trivia and production info, etc. If you're interested, please drop on by, create an account, and help me build the best fan site on the 'Net. :)

the Bangles[edit]

When you reverted Bell247's edits to the page, you should have issued some kind of warning. This editor has obvious WP:OWN issues with the article, especially concerning Abby Travis. We need a community consensus to stop this kind of edit warring. He will just change it back, and it will look like I am the only person resisting him. You should also have posted a comment on his talk page. Just a friendly heads up. It pays to be polite on Wikipedia, but not to be TOO nice to vandals and edit warriors. -- Elaich talk 04:24, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Great American Wiknic[edit]

Hi there! In the past, you've expressed an interest in local meetups of Wikipedians. Well, here's your chance! On Saturday, June 25, we'll be joining Wikipedians in cities all over the country for the first annual Great American Wiknic -- the picnic that anyone can edit! We'll meet up at a park in SF -- hopefully in the sun -- all other details are still in deliberation!

If this sounds fun, please add your name to the list: Wikipedia:Meetup/San Francisco/Wiknic and add that page to your watchlist. (And of course, feel free to edit that page with your ideas, questions, etc.) I look forward to wiknicking with you! -Pete (talk) 00:17, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
