Welcome![edit]

Hello, Disneyisatale, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Maleficent (film), have removed content without an explanation. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can place {{helpme}} on your talk page along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Chamith (talk) 14:02, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Elizium23. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Oz the Great and Powerful without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

March 2016[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Zootopia. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Your statement that it is Disney's fourth highest-grossing film is directly contradicted by the previous sentence of the article, that it is "the third consecutive Walt Disney animated film to reach [$500 million gross]". Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for April 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Deadline. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

May 2017[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. As has been stated, the low end of projected gross does not need to be stated as the film surpassed it, only that some projections had it making more than what it did. "upwards" does not indicate the film was a disappointment. Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:15, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:Stranger things poster.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Stranger things poster.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

October 2017[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Stranger Things (season 1) into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

Your edits to split to a separate article have been reverted. Please take it to the talk page and start a discussion, per the bold-revert-discuss cycle and allow the status quo to remain while you gain consensus to split. Your methods of hiding the summaries by removing them and keeping a duplicated table instead of transclusion were also incorrect and faulty. -- AlexTW 10:06, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unneeded rating updates[edit]

There's no requirement to update the rottentomatoes.com rating info each day (or multiple times in a day) in Wikipedia articles as you have done at Star Wars sequel trilogy. If you're going to do update to ratings, try to update the accessed date (|accessdate or |access-date field) in the references too. Thanks, -Finlayson (talk) 20:09, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The image is taken from this article: [1]. I don't know how to specify the copyright status of the image. Disneyisatale (talk) 13:06, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:BlackPantherLApremiereChadwickBoseman.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
