A tag has been placed on File:Governor of Karnataka-Hans Raj Bharadwaj.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Armbrust, B.Ed. Christian mythology[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Christian mythology. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.—Psychonaut (talk) 15:22, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Directorate General of Anti-Evasion[edit]

Thank you for the brownie. I noticed you also removed a substantial amount of text and templates from the article Directorate General of Anti-Evasion, but the edit summary was a bit confusing as to why. I take it you believe the text to have been a copyright violation, so I have restored the templates and tagged the text accordingly. In the future, if you find an unambiguous copyright violation, please use the {{copyvio}} template to flag it, and be careful not to remove the non-infringing, non-textual information from the article, such as templates, categories, infoboxes, and interwiki links. —Psychonaut (talk) 15:33, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Directorate of Income Tax Intelligence and Criminal Investigation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

—SpacemanSpiff 17:29, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

May 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Mayawati, makes articles harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

How do you know he is from Delhi? It doesn't say that on his userpage, unless I am missing something. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:58, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please note that the above unblock request was posted by an anonymous IP user who may or may not be User:Blamecivil95. User:Blamecivil95's userpage has been vandalized in the past, so it may not actually be him. (If it is him, though, then he is using the IP account to evade the block, as he edited an article with it before posting the unblock request.) —Psychonaut (talk) 14:15, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
