Personal attack[edit]

if you don't mind, I'll keep your statement for the third party purpose. Just to throw your words back to you, I think you're lying too. Where is the source? Back up your assertion. See WP:CITE. And at least, I have the cilivity to be polite. __earth (Talk) 14:43, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your mediation request[edit]

Hi there, this is Cowman109Talk. I have added a request for mediation at this link. All you need to do now is go to that page and add the necessary information (by clicking "edit this page" at the very top of the page). If you have any questions, feel free to ask here or on my talk page (I'll watch your page). I won't be able to be your mediator for this case as I have been busy lately, but I'm sure another mediator will be happy to assist you. Cowman109Talk 18:42, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from personal attacks[edit]

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. [1] --Fasten 17:43, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What vandalism?[edit]

I'd really appreciate it if you didn't categorize my edits to the Earth Day article as vandalism. Though I could be wrong about this, it seems like a personal attack to me, and I don't appreciate it. There isn't really a lot of evidence to prove that all Vietnam War protesters were allied with the USSR or North Vietnam, unless you count some idiot like Jane Fonda who is not representative of the movement as a whole. It's also pretty incredible that you don't think a statement like that is totally POV.

I have my own viewpoints, but I try my very best not to let them overlap into articles. I revert vandalism to right-wing articles and I remove POV attacks against right-wing viewpoints, as well. In short, I try to be mature about things. I don't let my views get in the way of my editing here at Wikipedia. And you shouldn't, either. I'm hoping that you'll think about what I just said, and reconsider this. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

notice that...[edit]

It's called compromised. And noticed that I was the last one to edit before the lock occurred... but then, like the term "rightist", the word compromise is probably not in your outdated dictionary too. quit shooting yourself in the foot already. And oh, please don't inject your own POV and conspiracy theory. and gives it a break. move on and quit acting like a child. __earth (Talk) 04:15, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification and a warning.[edit]

First of all, do you really want to know why I don't respond to half of what you say? Because it's a waste of my time to do so. Who would even want to respond to baseless insults and totally childish attempts at starting a conflict? I can't think of many, but I'm only responding to your last comment to let you know something.

I've been pretty patient lately. I've let you throw every single insult in the book at me. I've tried not to edit out every single thing you've tried to add to the Earth Day article. But I will not hesitate to report you to the Arbitration Committee if this happens one more time. You know, I could have thrown any number of insults at you about your beliefs or editing or whatever. But I haven't done so, because I have a little thing called maturity. I'd like to suggest that you be mature about this, and stop with the Nazi comparisons and attacks on my personal politics. You can respond to this if you like, but I'd suggest that you be civil about it, please.

Also, FYI: Asking that someone sign their comments and cite things correctly isn't an insult or an attack. It's standard procedure. Thank you.
