No Problem[edit]

I am really busy too. I hope you'll like it here. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. I am relatively new, so I might not be able to answer, but I'll do my best. Computernurd22 (talk) 14:15, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User:Sparkit has fixed it. You might like to ask him for more details. I'm not a great expert on categories. Some though are sub categories and therefore automatically included in the main category, so the latter shouldn't also be stated. I think that is what has happened. Tyrenius 01:15, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BTW: Sparkit is a "her". :) --sparkitTALK 14:08, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for helping in Painting[edit]

Thanks for helping out with the categories in the Painting article. If you have any info or more details that might help me when I deal with these sections, I'd love to hear of them. Artypants 07:31, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're most welcome. Most of what I know about categories is described at Wikipedia:Categorization, but please let me know if you have specific questions. --sparkitTALK 14:08, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the Award[edit]

Thank you for the Barn Star, much appreciated. --BSTemple (talk) 16:39, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Death date[edit]

Yes, always removed dubious info, especially from biogs per WP:BLP. If it's not particularly critical add {{fact}} next to the content, or put {{unreferenced}} or {{refimprove}} or {{nofootnotes}} at the top of the article. Correct usage for the last three is {{unreferenced|date=February 2009}}. Ty 12:18, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Broken Radio[edit]

Ooops! I knew I forget something. That is what I get for not doing many AfDs. I have voted in plenty, only created two. Thanks for the heads up. I will work on getting it right for next time :) Take Care and Have a Great Weekend...NeutralHomerTalk • February 14, 2009 @ 19:09

Hey Artsypants, IMDB only posts in-production movies from major production companies (dreamworks, universal, etc.) and not local. Local films are only accepted upon release and certificate of release, and a fee which has been paid if you want a copy of the receipt as proof. I have my writers guild membership number if you would like to see that as a credible source, as well as the registration of broken radio with the writeres guild of america. As for no existance in the listings from without a box, I stated that it had recieved honorable mention in the festival, meaning it was given that title but not accepted into the screenings, thusly it would not be listed. The providence film festival is a private film festival perfromed at providence college in providence, ri and I have in print files proving its award on that if you wish for me to reference, and or scan in for reference those. AS or ghost hunters the site I claimed to be not credible, I joined the crew in late 2008 as an interning prodiction assitant for the new season and will be credited upon the upon coming 2009-2010 season begining on March 18th and thusly I posted the first site to have courage of said credits. Again, I have the paper work signed and dated by the shows producers as well as pilgrim films declaring my employment as an intern. I also have my certificates of awards won by the films I have produced, as well as links to either the film it self in some that I have only produced and links to trailers of other films in which I have directed and produced. Please tell me what you would like for me to produce to you as proof for either Michael Wilbur's article or more importantly, Broken Radio's article and I will be more than happy to produce them for you. I also have the entry form that was sumbitted to the film festival as well as the letter of honorable mention. Any of these things, or other things let me know and I will produce them. So no, they are not "cushioned" reference as you refer to them. The Andrew Tyrrell article you can delete if you wish, as he was a production assistant on the movie and had a cameo appearance and I agree with you is just pure fluff of an article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mwilbs (talkcontribs) 20:13, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't quite sure what to do with the mundo post we all got, so I just left it be. I think it might be necessary to bring in an admin because they are making multiple pages to get around the current AfD. - NeutralHomerTalk • February 14, 2009 @ 21:04
Okie Dokie...enjoy your weekend and I will "see" you around tomorrow :) Take Care...NeutralHomerTalk • February 14, 2009 @ 21:10

Rather than beat around the bush why don't you stop talking to everyone else but me and say things to me. Tonyb and I have had a talk and have pleasantly come to an understanding of what needs to be done for the articles to stay yet you and homer feel a need to go behind my back and say I'm trying to get around the Afd? If you ever noticed, Broken Radio (film) was made before the other broken radio wiki, and I emptied it in hopes of its speedy deletion. Broken Radio then became the wiki. Andrew Tyrrell is a high school kid who was a production assitant on the film and wanted shits and giggles, by all means I vote for his deletion. My wiki as well as my films I have told you the proof that I bear and have put on the Afd page as well as once I have finished the scanning and such of the documents, will post as sources on the pages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mwilbs (talkcontribs) 05:04, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't give a care what your name is and frankly I never will because you're a nobody whose claim to fame is sitting in a cubicle editing wikipedia with a fine tooth come. I think in high school they called you a nerd...Oh wait, they still do. And real producer? Sorry real producer? You've never even owned enough money to LOOK at final cut never mind know what it is, real producer. Do you paint on newpaper? Cause your art sucks and you know a real artist paints on canvas. Have you read the notability cause wow look I have! Movies= IMDB and Awards. Well would you look at that, Broken Radio is being processed for its IMDB and had won awards! You're a genuine editor? HA! I wouldn't let you edit a forged doctors note.

Hmmm I wonder why those producers who've done mass shows don't have a wiki....I'd bet you tried to delete them. And actually if I'm so NON-NOTABLE, go through the list of american directors here on wiki. You'll find about 30 who have a one sentence description and nothing more and nothing notable. And apparently the producers aren't concerned cause I make more money as an intern on that show than you'll see in one month.

I shall not overreact to personal attacks!Artypants (talk) 17:46, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't need you to tell me to go study my craft, considering I can find the doors to open for me and get myself into my craft. How did I make it look like some hot shot? Cause I've had a job working backstage at a concert venue, work on a television show, and have met celebrities and gotten their advice? Oh well pardon me that my life is far better than yours! I never said I was really big in my local town. How do you think the art community feel s about someone who can't read? Did I not say I have credible papers which I'll upload? You've gotten one thing right in everything you've ever writte, you will never have a wiki about yourself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mwilbs (talkcontribs) 15:59, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I had noticed all these lengthy messages and got through part of them and my brain went "TL;DR". I am not sure what to make of them. :) Oh, if "nerd" is the worst you get called out of the whole thing, that is pretty good :)
I would ask Mwilbs not to get to bent out of shape about an article up for deletion. It happens all the time and to all of us. Let this be a lesson that next time has LOTS of references before setting out in making an article so it doesn't happen again. - NeutralHomerTalk • February 15, 2009 @ 17:03
I suggest we all take a deep breath and step back from the emotion of the moment. Let's all consider that having an article in Wikipedia is not the sum of one's worth and some like myself do not care if I have an article. Let's also reread the following articles WP:Civility and WP:No personal attacks to make sure we all understand the cooperative nature of Wikipedia. This has gotten a bit out of hand and I suggest we all put a bit of perspective on the "issue". Thanks... ttonyb1 (talk) 17:15, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks ttonyb1, but I'm gonna have to go against the wiki no personal attacks here as my character has been slandered by said artsypants or what ever the hell he'd like to be called and in due part will be hearing from my as well as my agency of william morris' law firms. Until then, I bid you all adieu. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mwilbs (talkcontribs) 18:32, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • On User talk:Ttonyb1 on the 14 February 2009 at 16:48 User:Mwilbs, said, quote: "If you don't believe I am notable enough, you would be wrong seeing as I am a small time local celebrity and probably more well known that some of the other things on wikipedia." end of quote.
Hence my stating: "The way you are making it look, you’re 19 years old and a hotshot big time producer - who’s really, really big in your local town."
I was replying to his, quote: "Rather than beat around the bush why don't you stop talking to everyone else but me and say things to me." - I did.--Artypants (talk) 20:02, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Names and Stuff[edit]

I agree with you, I have been called a lot worse and don't have quite as much money as Bill. Enjoy your day. ttonyb1 (talk) 18:20, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Official Website[edit]

I had seen this before and thought it was an attempt to establish that he had an "Official Website" - perhaps, not thinking that someone might actually look at it. If it were to help his case of Notability, I would probably add it to the AfD, but this does not seem to. There is enough to point to the Lack of Notability. Hang in there... ttonyb1 (talk) 17:18, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Remember this is not real life, only an approximation. 8-) No need to take things personally or react with great gusto. Generally, I have found there is no need to point out the shortcomings of other editors - they are usually seen and acknowledged quietly by others. The only time I would suggest doing it is if it is strong attack directed at you, then a complaint would probably necessary. Hang in there...ttonyb1 (talk) 17:45, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Interesting AfD[edit]

Kind reminds me of the AfD we encountered with Broken Radio (film) last week. I voted Delete on it along with everyone else. Looks like that will be a quick snow delete. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Take Care...NeutralHomerTalk • February 20, 2009 @ 20:49

This has been a rather contentious AfD. There seems to be a feeling that this is a vote and not an exchange of ideas to support acceptance or deletion. Thanks... ttonyb1 (talk) 16:51, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've got it watchlisted and I'm keeping an eye out. If it's messed up somewhere, just put things back where they should be, and leave an edit summary to say what you've done. Ty 00:17, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Libby Booth[edit]

I am very new to wikipedia as well and hope I am doing this correctly.

A few weeks ago you helped to approve the deletion of an article I wrote on a local artist named Libby Booth.

Not only did this article take me a very long time to write (as I said, I am new to this), but I was quite annoyed that it was removed so quickly by simply "googling" her name to see if she is a notable artist.

Perhaps I am naive about how this sight works, and perhaps I need to explain my own credentials in writing this.

I am a history professor who has lived in the Central Michigan area for nearly 25 years. Booth is by far the best artist I have ever seen in all of this time, and in terms of her local notability, she is considered the top artist of the Michigan tri-city area and is hopefully going to be known nationally quite soon.

While her name may not produce many google hits, this is NO WAY reflects how popular or well known she is in this area.

Outside of publishing books, I have published over 20 professional encyclopedia articles and am well aware of who should or should not have documentation about their careers and life.

This whole evaluation and deleting process seems rather haphazard (perhaps it is not and I am naive about this format), but I would appreciate it if you could possibly remove this article from its current deleted status.

I would really like to contribute more to this site in the future, but this initial experience is leaving me very frustrated.

Any advice or comments?

Sincerely, Dr. Joel A. Lewis

Joan Miró and Qrpedia[edit]

Hello! I've seen that are you are a member of the Wikiproject: Visual Arts and I would like to ask you for some help. The Wikipedia in Catalan have reached an agreement with the Joan Miró Foundation: They will include QRpedia codes next to the highlights of his upcoming exhibition about Joan Miró. It's the most important exhibit in the last 20 years, and has passed summer at Tate in London, this autumn will be in Barcelona, and then will go to NGA in Washington. The articles have been made in Catalan and are being translated into English, and I would like you to help us whether monitoring the translation, translating articles or expanding or translating them to other languages. As a wikignome, I wish you could help, just a litle is ok for us :) You can find more information about the Wikiproject here. Thank you in advance!.--Kippelboy (talk) 11:55, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
